I have included a number of secular, political articles and commentaries on ACP not to push any political ideology or to pit so-labeled conservatives against so-labeled liberals. No, every article or commentary posted on this site shows the erosion of the foundation upon which this nation was envisioned and brought to fruition. After much blood, sweat, tears, and great effort. Deep thinking on the part of the Founders, who are now mocked, generated, despised, and figuratively spit upon, or literally having their statues and monuments torn down.
As America tears itself down from the inside.
The greatest enemy is the one within. Permitting the enemy from the outside to enter in and do their worst.
This is not a battle as believed by the overwhelming majority of the “good people” in the white Republican/so-called conservatives apparel vs. the “bad people” in the black apparel of the Democrat/so-called liberal side for their perpetual shootout in the OK [not-going-well] Corral.
Deals are struck. Deals are made. Most times there is no discernable difference between those with n “R” or a “D” after their name on the truly big and important matters.
Oh, there is a perpetual breaking of wind. A constant scirocco of hot air and endless words spewed. Especially when microphones and video cameras are present. But behind closed doors? In sequestered places? Where the deals are struck? A person would be hard-pressed to pick out the so-called conservative and the so-called liberal. I realize this may be difficult to believe and most reject this but the continual, perpetual descent and erosion of America over the past 60 years or so is evidence. If only a person would look and discover this historical fact. No matter what political party controls the White House or Congress.
EVERY bill that becomes law is designed with loopholes. Myriad appendixes and addendums. Add-ons. Among the typical few thousands of pages each individual bill that becomes law.
Loopholes. Built-in. With intent. By those wearing the white hats in conjunction with those wearing the black hats.
Believe it or not…
Don’t believe this? Well, there is a glaring and clear example of this below. Why I’m now sitting here writing these words. This is not a singular or occasional happening. This occurs in every bill that becomes law. Every single one.
Because our elected public servants can never speak clearly, plainly, and from a position of truth. There always have to be those things included to blur, color, muddy, confuse and make possible for those who know how to work the loopholes to use them to promote the further erosion and destruction of the foundations, of America. From within.
I know this is hard to digest and believe. Take the time to research what bills, that became law, and what policies were put in place during each Congress and Executive Branch administration over the past 60 years. You may be surprised. Especially if of the folks in white hats on the really pretty horses with the cool guns vs. the folks on the scraggly horses with the not-so-cool guns flock.
It greatly saddens me and is a tragedy of the highest order that has occurred in America over the past 60 years.
I’m old enough to have witnessed it all. I’ve lived the history. Seen the differences. The demise. The rot set in. The selfishness increase. The loss of values, focus, and centering — turning from the foundations. Turning from the faith.
The writing and more have been on the walls every day for the past 60 years. But everyone appears too busy to notice. Or too apathetic, or too unbelieving. Refusing to face reality.
Signs.
It’s all signs.
Not of political tides and turning. This all has very little to do with political parties or any election. Although a person is hard-pressed to impress that fact on the populace. Even those that don’t vote or don’t appear to care about anything.
This is a turning from the foundations, from a general consensus morality even among the heathens, the unbelieving — such as only 40, 50 years ago gambling was viewed by most folks, even non-Christians, as a vice. A breakdown in morality. Dangerous. And not something a decent person would become involved in.
Gambling is so rampant and perverse that I doubt even most professed Christians realize the constant barrage of enticement and seduction to get people to gamble exists presently. Now, only a few decades later a person that doesn’t gamble, doesn’t play the lottery, or doesn’t bet on sports is viewed as an operation. “You haven’t ever been to Vegas! REALLY!? You don’t gamble, don’t even play any sports pools, or have any brackets!? REALLY!?”
No.
Those are a fool’s delusional way to live. And when I think of the BILLIONS wasted annually, the HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of dollars that could have done so many good things, and people have all those blessings from God to waste? To be part of that darkness?
As many of those same people complain about taxes, contracts of professional athletes, the envy of what their neighbors have, complain about not having enough money!
Are you kidding? REALLY?
And I’m not even broaching at this point the premeditated murder of children, the approval and legalization of drugs or the accommodating and approval of every sexual deviancy and perversion under the sun, or how each successive political cycle, Congress, and Executive administration is more corrupt more dangerous and less the leaders of, for, and by the people they ought to be. Public servants is what they were originally created as.
The secular, the worldly events are not isolated or separated from the spiritual war taking place continually within and around each person in America, in and around each person on this passing earth.
Look where we are now…and our best days lie ahead of U.S. as EVERY American president says at EVERY State of the Union Address?
REALLY!?
I will be returning to more, mostly Christian faith-centered and spiritual postings and easing up on the following…

Foreign Interference? How Non-Citizens Are Voting in American Elections
This month marks the 30th anniversary of President Bill Clinton signing the National Voter Registration Act into law. You probably know the law as “Motor Voter.” It is the federal requirement that requires state motor vehicle offices to offer voter registration and the ability to update your address.
Sounds convenient? Now, we have data showing one of the side effects of Motor Voter is to put non-citizens onto American voter rolls.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation, of which I am president, has been examining Motor Voter at 30; the good and the bad.
On one hand, the law has greatly increased the transparency in our elections. The law requires that all voter list maintenance records be available for public inspection. When elections are conducted with transparency, we trust the process more regardless of which candidate wins.
Additionally, Motor Voter requires states to have a reasonable program to remove registrants who have moved out of state or have passed away. There is no other obligation for election officials to have clean rolls.
On the downside, Motor Voter has led to foreign nationals who are not US citizens getting registered to vote, and documents prove it.
We know this because we have collected extensive records of non-citizens asking to be removed from the voter rolls. Sometimes those records reveal how the foreign citizen was registered to vote, and the Motor Voter process represents the vast majority of cases.
According to election records from Maricopa County, Arizona, 222 foreign nationals were removed from the county voter registration list since 2015. One of these individuals was registered for 27 years. That is 13 federal elections.
Some of the 222 foreigners on the voter rolls were also voting. Nine individuals are recorded casting 12 ballots across 4 federal elections.
Chicago, not surprisingly, has similar problems. Chicago election records show 394 foreigners were cancelled from the rolls after they asked to be. Of course, too many of them voted.
Chicago officials provided registration records where some foreign nationals even checked “NO” to the question of whether the person is a United States citizen, and were still registered.
The Pennsylvania State Department admitted that due to what election officials referred to as a “glitch” that they had been accidentally registering foreign nationals to vote for two decades. They have been fighting for over five years to conceal details, including the number of foreign nationals the Commonwealth registered to vote by mistake.
It is not always a plot, either. The process can be as simple as a foreign national checking the wrong box or signing the wrong form handed to them by a government employee – sometimes they cannot fully understand the language.
The reports from Maricopa County and Chicago are not an inventory of every non-citizen vote, but only those who informed election officials they were not American citizens. So, the catalog of confessed non-citizens is almost certainly just the tip of the iceberg.
Foreign nationals contact election officials to be removed from the voter roll when they are in the process of naturalizing to become a U.S. citizen. The naturalization process requires foreign nationals to answer if they have been registered to vote. If they lie about this easily verifiable question, they scuttle their naturalization. Worse, they risk outright deportation. Unfortunately, self-confessions represent the primary documents demonstrating the problem.
Nobody has a single database of citizens or foreigners that can be used for election administration — not even the federal government. The Department of Homeland Security has a database of foreigners who have touched the immigration process, such as student visa holders, asylum seekers, green card applicants. But federal officials have failed to provide meaningful access to state election officials.
What can be done about non-citizens registering to vote?
Congress can solve the problem by allowing states to validate citizenship effectively. This could be as easy as providing a passport, birth certificate or other evidence of being an American at the time of voter registration.
Another easy fix is for Congress to add citizenship to the National Voter Registration Act’s reasonable voter list maintenance requirements for states. Motor Voter does not put the same obligation for states to keep voter rolls free from non-citizens as it does, for example, dead voters.
We have learned a great deal about Motor Voter over the last three decades. The law profoundly changed American elections, yet it is showing signs of wear. It’s time to modernize it.
