What happens in places you may not live matters. To you. To me. To everyone in America.

We live in dire times that have been made to appear not so dire. These are the most divisive and precarious times of my lifetime in America. I’m 73 years old. Lived through the 60s. The assassinations. The riots. These times are worse, though massaged and manipulated so they do not appear so. People are lulled. Thinking it can’t be that bad, right? Well, in Virginia, as well as many other places in America, they — the they mentioned here and for the remainder of my preface to the following article — they are an element in America that will resort to anything, ANYTHING, in an attempt to undermine or remove President Trump.

No ethics, nothing is off limits in their attempt to undermine or remove President Trump. Lawlessness, unconstitutional acts, outright blatant evil. They have a single-minded, white-hot, deranged hatred, and it is a very dangerous element in America. It is evil. Not merely politics. They are serving Satan. I realize that when I get to the point of writing such, it turns a certain percentage of people off. Too bad. It’s the truth.

Evil is at work. Not just political ideologies. We’re in a spiritual war, folks, and it’s escalating by the week.

I do not always agree with President Trump, as regular visitors and subscribers know. Mainly dealing with Iran and Islam. I understand certain things must be said publicly to provide cover for what may be said behind closed doors. But disagreeing on a few points is quite different from criminal acts, tens of millions of dollars being passed around, unethical actions, lawlessness, threats, and the revealing of pure evil. There are many people in America who have nothing but hate in their hearts for President Trump and will resort to anything to discredit him, or attempt to get him out of office, or cheat the system in an election.

I do not worship the man as many do. I worship the LORD Jesus Christ, God the Father of His people, true believers, and I respect President Trump. I agree with him more than I disagree with him, and if in an election it were Donald Trump and an opponent, whoever that opponent might be, I’m voting for Donald Trump.

But half of America has nothing but pure venom and hatred in them towards our president, who sincerely desires to save America in a time when America was on the brink of destruction.

We never used to be like this. Even at our worst. Never like it is now. Not since the Civil War.

When voters were asked, upon leaving the polls in Virginia, why they voted for the illegal redistricting, the unethical manner in which it was put on the ballot, they all said the same thing — “We need to stop Trump!”

Stop him from what? Abiding by the Constitution? The rule of law? Being a law-and-order president? Speaking the truth on almost every topic, which just happens to fly in the face of the minions and ministers of Satan working to destroy America? Stop him from fixing what is broken in this land?

Pay attention to just how vocal and desperate evil and its workers are.

And it is about the spiritual war, the battle between what is right, just, and of value, what is godly for a government to do, versus evil.

Don’t be lulled.

Don’t be deceived.

Evil is at work without ever resting, ever sleeping, ever being satisfied. In America. It can be seen and heard every day, everywhere.

Not to throw up the hands and go woe is U.S., and live in despair. No, not at all. Time to be aware. And discerning. Time to be wise. And no longer silent, permitting evil to have its way.

Doing so lawfully, in a godly manner. Not acting as evil does. But being very active in pushing back against the spread of the lies, the darkness, the depravity, the erosion, the lawlessness.

Pray that the legal battle already underway and likely going on for some time is found in favor of what is right, what is just, what is lawful, and evil is handed a defeat.

Pray for President Trump to have great wisdom, discernment, strength, and to be led by God.

Pray for our nation, which has never been in such a state since the mid-1800s. Yes, it’s that turbulent and divided.

No time to be lulled. No time for cowards. No time for silence and hiding.

Judge Rules Virginia Redistricting Referendum Unconstitutional

The state attorney general says he will appeal the decision.

A Virginia judge ruled on April 22 that the state’s redistricting referendum approved by voters a day earlier was invalid, nullifying the election results.

Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones said he would immediately file an appeal.

“Virginia voters have spoken, and an activist judge should not have veto power over the People’s vote,” Jones said in an X post.

Tazewell Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley entered an injunction blocking certification of the election.

Former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli said the legal fight was just beginning after language used in the ballot question raised a lot of interest among the opposition.

The question voters faced was the following: “Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?”

Cuccinelli expects the case to move quickly through the appeals process.

“The ‘yes’ folks probably are going to look back at Tuesday and think that was the easy part because they have so badly violated several constitutional provisions,” Cuccinelli told “The Scott Jennings Show.”

The referendum faces three legal challenges in addition to the one decided on April 22.

“Here’s my prediction, the referendum gets tossed out in May,” Cuccinelli said in an X post.

Three of the lawsuits challenge the referendum on procedural grounds, arguing that Democratic Party lawmakers didn’t follow the law regarding timing requirements and legislative steps when passing the measure to place it on the ballot.

The fourth argument is about how the electoral districts were drawn and challenges the maps on contiguity requirements.

Tens of millions of dollars were spent to pass the redistricting referendum as Democrats across the nation continue their quest to redraw congressional seats in favor of taking back the U.S. House.

The referendum’s political action group, Virginians for Fair Elections, raised more than $64 million by April 13, according to the Virginia State Board of Elections campaign finance reports.

According to the finance reports, much of the funding came from national Democratic political action organizations in the Washington area, including congressional committees and the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, the League of Conservation Voters, Common Ground, and The Fairness Project, a labor union-backed activist organization.

House Majority Forward, a progressive Super PAC launched by Democrats that does not have to disclose its donors, contributed $38.8 million to the redistricting effort.

Voters approved the new map by a thin margin—51.5 percent to 48.5 percent—making Virginia the latest state to gerrymander its congressional seats in favor of Democrats. The map is intended to give the Democratic Party 10 out of the 11 congressional seats in the state, a drastic shift from the current map, in which Republicans hold five districts.

Virginia is the latest blue state to march into the redistricting battleground. California also passed a referendum, likely giving Democrats in that state three to five additional seats in the upcoming general election. Utah’s new map, enacted through a court order, may add one Democratic House seat.

On the Republican side, a new congressional map in Texas is expected to give the GOP three to five new seats. Ohio and West Virginia could gain one each, while Louisiana and Missouri are awaiting court rulings to redistrict. Florida officials have not yet decided whether to redraw the state maps.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) encouraged South Carolina to consider jumping into the fight.

“I would encourage South Carolina’s next Republican governor and the Republican legislature to seriously look at what our state’s response should be to Democrats in Virginia,” Graham said in an X post on April 22. “Republicans in South Carolina should consider being bold and fighting back.”
