If a truly born again, faithful, and obedient believer, what is happening ought not worry or cause anxiety, and provide assurance that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled, that Our Great Good God is Sovereign over ALL THINGS.

That what unfolds daily, in the case of this war with Iran, is but setting the stage for the future Ezekiel 38, 39 war.

We must be objective, clear, aware, and trusting in the Holy Spirit to guide us in understanding, always turning to the whole Holy Bible, always going to the LORD in faithful prayer, asking for wisdom and discernment. Not being troubled. For the time of our LORD to come and snatch us, in the twinkling of an eye, to Himself and remove us from this world is closer than ever. It could happen at any time.

The Rapture will occur either before, during, or right after the Ezekiel 38, 39 war. No one knows or can say for sure, and never should make such proclamations or statements. Never setting times or days. But living each day as they come, as we are blessed, just this day, to be a light unto others in this dark and ever darkening wicked world, trusting in the Word of God, trusting and obeying our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiac.

Being aware but objective, rational, critical, thinking, reasoning, using the good brain that God blessed us with. Not worshipping or idolizing any man or government, while praying and knowing America was created by God for His purpose, a nation unlike any other ever on earth — but do not worship any man or government, other than the government of God, of Jesus, of the Holy Spirit. While being a good citizen here, an active, aware, citizen exuding light and being very salty, know that we are but sojourners here and our home is in heaven, in the new earth to come, with Jesus.

If not believing this, if still unconvinced Jesus is LORD and have not repented and made Him LORD of your life, and remain in sin, remain in darkness, remain lost? Well, you’d better make a serious, eternity-changing life-changing course correction of 180 degrees — while the Gracious, Merciful, Forgiving, Loving God blesses you with breath and a beating heart. For today is the day of Salvation. And no one knows how many more breaths, heartbeats, minutes, hours, or days we have remaining — but we all have our eternities ahead, and there are only two places any person can or will find themselves in. And contrary to the deceptions, the lies, the cunning seductive words of the world, of the rising false teachers in churches, those professing to be Christians while they are not, as they serve their master, Satan, THERE IS A HELL, not everyone goes to heaven, and hell is ETERNAL. Not temporary, not a myth, not a figment of man’s imagination. Satan is not a red man with horns and a pointy tail — he was created to be the most beautiful creation of a being by God. He is seductive. He appears as a minister of light, as do all those ministers serving him.

Do not be deceived — professed believer, or among those still in darkness.

Come to the Light, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiac, and remain firmly, faithfully, deeply planted in the foundation of the whole Holy Bible. In fervent faithful prayer, for such a time as this.

Do not fear the events of this world as they unfold. God is Sovereign over all things. Learn, know, trust, and believe in Bible prophecy. Find a sound Bible-believing, whole Bible teaching church that does not corrupt or pervert the Word of God. Spend as much time as possible in God’s whole Word, eating of it, drinking it in for spiritual health, nourishment, and strength in times such as this, always, all your days. While in fervent, faithful prayer.

Be ready. Be equipped. Be prepared. Spiritually by the Holy Spirit. That only comes by our devoted reading, study, and meditation — thinking deeply on what is read and studied in God’s Word. Do not rely on men to provide discernment and understanding if that man or woman’s words do not align with Scripture. God is the final word. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom, understanding, discernment, and believe it, and He will provide. Do not doubt this.

I only know this from personal experience. Of my own mind, without God, without the whole Holy Bible, without the indwelling Holy Spirit, I am lost and nothing. It is only when focused on the ways, words, things of the LORD as found in Scripture that true knowing, true wisdom, true discernment and understanding, truly seeing are made known.

Iran vows to “set fire to the souls” of American soldiers if the U.S. puts boots on the ground

Iran issued blood-curdling threats to “set the souls of American soldiers on fire” as U.S. Marines arrived in the Middle East, prepared for the start of ground operations in the war.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian parliament, the Majlis, and the man said to be President Trump’s choice of a regime negotiating partner, said the country was preparing to be tricked in any forthcoming talks process.

“On the surface, the enemy sends messages about negotiation and dialogue, but in secret it is drawing up plans for a ground attack — unaware that our men are waiting for American soldiers to enter so they can set fire to their souls and impose eternal punishment on their partners in the region,” he said in a message to the nation.

“Do not doubt for a moment the resolve of your soldiers and servants; they are more steadfast than mountains, more burning than fire for the enemy and more terrifying than lightning.”

With a week to go before the expiry of President Trump’s latest deadline for Iran to strike a deal, teams of regional diplomats eager to see an end to the crisis gathered in Pakistan, the latest U.S. ally to volunteer as a mediator. They included the Turkish, Saudi and Egyptian foreign ministers.

However, both sides were gearing up for a ground confrontation. Iran had the added knowledge that the attacks by the U.S. and Israel began in the middle of talks mediated by the Omani foreign minister.

President Trump has sent mixed messages about what the target of any operations on the ground might be or even whether there would be any. Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, suggested over the weekend that American goals could be met without ground forces, but media reports said the Pentagon had drawn up plans for weeks of fighting.

U.S. Central Command announced on Saturday night that the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit had arrived in the region from East Asia. The 31st is a full battle unit based on the USS Tripoli, an amphibious troop carrier, with support vessels, fighter jets, Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft, and helicopters. In all, the force comprises 2,200 marines and 1,300 other servicepeople.

A second marine unit, the 11th, is also said to be on its way to the region, as well as paratroopers and infantry from the 82nd Airborne Division.

The deployments are on top of about 40,000 troops already on station at America’s bases across the Gulf, but even so, total numbers are nowhere near sufficient strength to launch a full-scale invasion of Iran. The initial conquest of Iraq, a much smaller country, in 2003 took a force of 150,000 strong.

The units seem more suited to targeted attempts to assert control of the Strait of Hormuz and reopen it to shipping if Iran refuses America’s terms for a deal, which in Tehran’s view amount to a demand for surrender.

Trump has said Iran must end its nuclear programme and hand over its existing stocks of enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency, dismantle its network of proxy forces, and minimise its ballistic missile programme.

Iran, in turn, is demanding that America and Israel cease their attacks, order ceasefires across the region, including against its proxy militia Hezbollah in Lebanon, and pay reparations, otherwise it will maintain its attacks on shipping and sites in the Gulf.

Analysts say the most likely targets for U.S. ground troops would be Kharg Island, the heavily guarded terminal node of the Iranian oil industry. Also strategically located are three islands at the head of the Gulf, Greater and Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa, which are claimed by the United Arab Emirates in any case, and the larger island of Qeshm off the Iranian coast, which is used as a base by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

However, to have a lasting impact on the war, the U.S. Marines and paratroops would have to not only seize the islands but also hold them in the face of concerted missile fire and other assaults from the Iranian mainland.

Although the U.S. and Israel have managed to substantially degrade Iran’s military capabilities, it still has some left, as shown by its continuous firing of intermediate-range missiles at Israel in recent days.

Over the past month, it has also inflicted significant losses on America’s bases. In Qatar, it has destroyed two radar systems as well as causing damage to the giant al-Udeid base, the forward operating headquarters of U.S. Central Command.

Missile strikes early in the war caused devastation to the main U.S. base in Kuwait, and have also seriously affected the U.S. naval base in Bahrain, home to the Fifth Fleet. Troops across the Gulf had been forced to relocate to hotels because their accommodation had been rendered uninhabitable, according to a report in The New York Times.

At the weekend, an E-3 Sentry AWACS (airborne early warning and control system) aircraft was confirmed destroyed in a direct hit on the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. So far, 13 U.S. service members have been killed in the war, and 300 have been injured.

That is not enough to alter the balance of power. It is overwhelmingly in favour of the U.S. and Israel, who also have complete control of the skies.

But Iran has long been prepared for asymmetric warfare. It has moved its own command and control centres to mobile platforms, as well as keeping much of its arsenal of both missiles and drones underground.

Michael Stephens, an analyst with the Royal United Services Institute, said it was a matter of will for the U.S. as to what losses it was prepared to sustain now and in any land fighting. Western armies had become used to trying to ensure overwhelming superiority, but now had to get reaccustomed to the idea that “soldiers die in battle”.

“It all adds up,” he said. “It’s not that any one bit is critical. But losses mount up over time, degrading the U.S. ability to maintain the force posture it needs in other theatres.”
