The Death of Critical Thinking: How Stupidity Took Over

Evolution did not form the human brain. God did.
We live in the last few words of the last sentence, in the last paragraph, on the last page of human history as it has been known.
A.W. Tozer, from The Pursuit of God, quotes from Saint Augustine of Hippo;
“Thou hast made us for thyself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it finds its rest in thee.”
We must ask ourselves in private seclusion, alone and away from all noise, this deep question. – Do we agree that the same longing heart beats within our chest just as it did in Augustine?
Always be on guard, and remember the words of Jesus;
“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place – unless you repent.“ Revelation 2:4–5
What is thought to be truth is a lie. What is a lie is believed to be true. Evil is considered good, and what is good is now deemed evil. Isaiah was receiving the message from the Holy Spirit very clearly.
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20
Those words have never rung truer than they do today. But they will be replaced tomorrow by an even further fall into the abyss, the darkness, the lunacy, the reprobate mind being the dominant one today.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Worldly philosophers get it partly right. The world has sunk into a pandemic of idiocy, of stupidity, an utter lack of critical thinking, of thinking at all.
But worldly philosophers do not have the answer.
Only God.
Only Jesus.
Only the Holy Spirit.
Only the whole Word of God.
Only an individual willing to think, to see, to hear, to know, to humble themselves, repent, bow, submit, and come to allow the Holy Spirit to work in them by their faith in the LORD Jesus Christ as the Truth, the Way, the Light to Life. The Only Way.
When listening and viewing the video below, keep that thought, that knowledge in mind, and begin to finally think, truly see, truly hear by entering deeply into the Word of God and listening intently, perhaps for the first time, REALLY, to your Creator.
