Wake up! While the Good Lord blesses you with time to do so…God’s Word is given to be READ, BELIEVED, EXERCISED, PRACTICED, LIVED, STUDIED, & DAILY, NIGHTLY DEEPLY MEDITATED UPON. It does not exist to look good on a bookshelf. Omitting nothing, doubting nothing, adding nothing, modifying nothing foolishly imagining we know better than God, or that the times dictate we alter the inerrant infallible living and active Word of God.
God is unchangeable. So is His Word. Who are any of us to question God? To imagine we somehow know better than the Creator?
Where’s the awe, the reverence, the humility, the hearts aflame and thriving in the ways and Word of the Lord in our time? Oh, it’s there. In places. In some individuals. But not nearly as it ought to be considering our times, our technology, and our ability to communicate.
Bible literacy is rarer than a 55-carat diamond. Bible illiteracy is the order of the day. Bible fluency almost is extinct yet professed believers know and use all the lexicon of the times. Imagine that? We don’t really know what’s in the Bible but we know every worldly word to use.
No excuses. No excuse for not spreading the gospel which is Christ alone, Christ crucified, Christ risen, Christ alone the way to the Father, and eternal life.
Do we hate people so much we refuse to spread the gospel? Hate God and Jesus so much we refuse to eat, and drink daily of the life-giving nourishment of God’s Word? Are we so shallow, so in need of constant lit up fast movement loud entertainment we have no time for long, quiet contemplative reading and study daily of God’s Word?
Do we live to serve ourselves, thus serving and pleasing Satan? Or do we live to have the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour, Friend, and also LORD of our lives? Having Jesus preeminent. Having God preeminent. Having and believing the Holy Spirit to be preeminent and our constant Helper?
Jesus is coming back one more time. A Second time.
Get ready now folks. And prepare, equip, and grow daily until that day comes. For the days grow shorter and eviler. And lethargy, apathy, laziness, complacency, loving this world as almost all do, so self-absorbed and following every fable the ears itch more and more and more…
Get ready now folks. We’re one day closer to Jesus’ Second and Final Coming than we were yesterday.
I hear how no one has time, how precious time is. Well, how about eternal time? Does that matter as much as passing time that fades away swiftly and in time will be forever forgotten? What about eternal time where your spirit, your soul will reside? Perhaps it’s time to make time for the most important matter in each person’s life. I address this mainly to those professing to be disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, and secondly, and very important to anyone finding themselves here now that perhaps is wondering, seeking, or just plain does not believe.
Listen and watch the video below.
Get ahold of a Bible. The inerrant infallible unchangeable Word of God. And don’t just hold it. Open it. Read it. Eat of it. Continually. And hold it in your heart and mind more than holding it in your hands or leaving it on a bookshelf to give the illusion first to self, and then others that may see it, that you’re somehow a good person because you have a Bible where you live.
Where you will reside for eternity is uppermost. And a closed Bible, a closed mind, and a closed heart will determine the place.
Do not permit Satan to win so easily. Do not be defeated in such a manner.
Lukewarm? Cold? Dead? Sick? On life support? Vibrant and alive? Thriving?
God knows. God knows everything.
EVERYTHING.
Wake up! Believer and unbeliever. Beginning today.

Jesus’ Words to Last Days Believers
VIDEO
Pastor Greg Laurie
To the Church in Sardis
“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.
“‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
To the Church in Philadelphia
“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens.
“‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you. Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
To the Church in Laodicea
“And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.
“‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”
