That I may publish

with the voice of thanksgiving,

and tell of all thy wondrous works.

Open my eyes

so that I

may

contemplate wondrous things

from your instruction.

O, Wondrous Lord

beyond any finite minds comprehension

let us gather round

in like-minded ascension

within your word

heeding thy ways

without apprehension

faithfully

fully

giving our attention

increasing daily

at the sound

of thy Spirit

found

in heart’s aflame

if only we’d pause

quiet the noise

humbleness over ignorance

arrogance

self

and

listen

looking

heavenward

not backward

nor

earthward

in the quagmire of our sinful souls

let thy word be found

resound

be heard

within the hearts aflame

true disciples of the Son

each

individual

heart aflame burning

in

the

Truth

the

Way

the

Life

greater than a 1,000

earthy suns

keeping

that Old Dragon and his evil minions ever on the run

from touching

us

ne’er to thee wondrous Lord

on this tempest-tossed life may we ever be

LORD my God,

you have done many things–your wondrous works

and

your plans for us;

none can compare with you.

If I were to report and speak of them,

they are more than can be told.

Make me understand the way of your precepts,

and I will meditate on your wondrous works.

There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,

nor are there any works like yours.

All the nations you have made shall come

and worship before you, O Lord,

and shall glorify your name.

For you are great and do wondrous things;

you alone are God.

O, Wondrous Lord

may our tears of sorrow acknowledging our sin

begin

with the tears of joy from thy Spirit cleansing

entering

within

O, Wondrous Majestic Lord

may we see thee

through thy word

as we live out daily thy example

by our speech

by our deeds

bearing fruit

heavenward reach

as your word does teach

though we deserve it not

your grace

your love

your mercy seat

we come to learn

at your feet

O, wondrous Lord

we love and savor

as our wondrous Saviour!

And ye shall eat in plenty,

and be satisfied,

and praise the name of the LORD your God,

that hath dealt wondrously with you:

and my people shall never be ashamed.

And Jesus came

and said to them,

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Go therefore

and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them

in the name of the Father

and of the Son

and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them

to observe all that I have commanded you.

And

behold,

I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed

throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations,

and then the end will come.

Wondrous, O, wondrous Lord

Saviour

King

Prophet

High Priest

and Teacher

Lord of lords

may we see

being

the disciples

ye seek

answering your call

with our all

for thee!

All the ends of the earth shall remember

and turn to the Lord,

and all the families of the nations

shall worship before you.

For kingship belongs to the Lord,

and he rules over the nations.
