Space walking

Yes, I’m redundant. So, what’s wrong with that? Redundancy builds and firms up, creates, holds together, makes movement possible, fosters growth, through it sounding better, and puts things together. In music, practicing, playing, in words, and in having a solid foundation upon which to build.

Without a foundation, a solid foundation and understanding, belief of the Scriptures anyone is space walking. In the dark void.

No matter who they are. No matter their title, age, education, demeanor, nationality, their zipcode, net worth. No matter who no matter what.

I hear and see a lot of professed Christians who do not like to hear this, who refuse to accept this. Their faith lies mainly in this world in certain men, women, and systems in this world. From their specific church, denomination, political party, or politician, they voted for and refuse to be objective about revealing this truth. They love the world more than the LORD. Otherwise…

By our fruit we are known.

That doesn’t mean car washes, bake sales, and committee upon committee. Cheering because there are X amount of backsides in the seats for one service on a Sunday morning and X amount of dollars in the treasury.

It isn’t what enters a person’s mouth that defiles them, but what comes out of their mouth.

What truly lies in the heart. Is the heart of the matter.

And it sure looks and sounds as if the love of the world, faith in certain institutions, systems, and men and women take precedence over Jesus. I know that’s difficult to read and to believe, but if this were not so, America would be radically different. No? How is it that almost 6 out of every 10 people in America claim to be Christian, yet we are as we are?

I see and hear so many people, people who I know as Christians, or I don’t know them personally, but through what they preach, write, say in videos are walking in space, in the void, drifting due to where they place the greater amount of their faith, focus, efforts, and lives.

In the world. Space walking in the darkness while so tethered to the people, offices, places, and things of this world. All of which are going to be eternally forgotten. All of it. Everything. Forever forgotten.

Even on the New Earth among the New Heaven.

Especially in the New Jerusalem.

So many placing so much faith, hope, confidence, loyalty to men and women in various positions, offices, titles actually believing they are the answer to so many ills and concerns. While saying Jesus is their life, their salvation, their purpose here on earth.

I don’t see it. I don’t hear it. Among so many.

Either space walking in silence, idle, going through the motions, checking off the boxes:

Church on Sunday. One service.

Sitting on a church committee.

Rinse. Repeat. Maybe adjust the Christian recliner once in a while. Attend a Christian music concert that is a rock concert in reality. Most of them anyway. Do some research into the Christian music genre and discover the truth that many of the artists aren’t Christians, but moved over to the Christian music genre because it’s big business. Sells a lot of music, tickets. It’s big. Big money. I’m not being cynical or negative. The truth is never negative. It’s only the truth. Something everyone ought to seek to know and put into order in their lives, in the building blocks of understanding, as we all traverse this fallen world where great deception resides.

So many others say Jesus is what matters most yet from their words, their actions, the visible, audible fruit borne out it’s the membership in a certain church, a denomination, their political affiliation, where they live, an election outcome, a politician who becomes more of their savior than the Savior, though there is only One True Savior and where they place so much of their faith, in their earthly savior is no savior at all. Just another sinner. Just another man or woman. That’s all. Really.

If a leader is truly a godly leader with his emphasis on the LORD, righteousness, knowing and living out what is in the Holy Bible, their words and emphasis cannot be about wealth creation, riches, materialistic gains, imagining peace with avowed enemies of God and God’s people.

There are no such leaders in this world. They do not exist. Therefore, none of them, no matter who, can truly save anything. Not really. To believe so is delusional and goes against the Word of God

There IS only One Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiac.

Why don’t we live accordingly?

Too many space walking.

Space filling.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful, so amazing, unlike anything since the Pentacost, if we corporately believed to the degree, faithfully, focused, that our hearts went from a flicker of a flame to hearts ablaze with the Holy Spirit — ZEAL — a perfectly good word long forgotten and never used, filled with the fire of the LORD, aflame in our hearts, our minds honed, focused primarily on the things of heaven, the things of God, the things of the Holy Bible putting the things of this world in perspective accordingly?

Because, until and unless anyone does that — truly placing Jesus, God the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Bible as our voice, our will [which is God’s will and His will for us] and we form every belief, foundation, every brick to build the structure of our lives upon the Holy Bible believing every word within the Word, well, we are just space walking in the dark void.

No matter who we are. What our title might be. What our education is. Our age. Where we live. What we have. Where do we go to church?

Just another space walker in the dark void unless and until being firmly tethered to the Word of God as the foundation upon which our life is built.

Not in words.

In fruit borne.

In acts.

Not works in expectation of obtaining salvation or a reward. Works as a result of a heart aflame for the LORD, in love with the LORD for what He did for us — REALLY UNDERSTANDING that and not giving it mere lip service.

May it begin with me.

I write much of this stuff as if looking in a mirror. For I will face my LORD alone one day to hear what He says regarding what I did with my life, I proclaim I now live for Him.

Imagine if we all began living our lives for Jesus.

Wow.

It doesn’t happen with words, writing an article, making a video, preaching a sermon, getting a certain degree, or attaining a certain title.

Or with car washes, bake sales, stage productions, light shows, a smokin’ hot worship group, committees, camps, seminars, conferences, a pastor with a master’s or Ph.D. from XYZ seminary, oh my! guest speakers, fiction, entertainment, and the list goes on and on, Christian.

No…none of those things.

It only can begin in individual hearts. Just as repentance, being born from above, born again happens.

Otherwise, it’s a lot of folks in suits space walking…
