I would have liked to have been able to put together a page on ACP, copying the latest information from Pew Research Center, but the way they put it together, they make that impossible. At least for me. What I have been able to do is to publish the email they sent to me, wherein, if you scroll down to the last paragraph in the letter from Mr. Dimock, the President of Pew Research Center, and click on the full report and dive into our interactive database, or so right here, you’ll find all the information.

Bear in mind that we reside in a nation wherein men identify as women, women identify as men, and even more bizarre people identify as animals, plants, and everything under the sun. Just because a person identifies themselves as something does not make it so. Our #1 product in America is delusion. Lying. Deceiving ourselves. Pretending. The outward appearance over the inward reality. Deception over the truth, only followed up by rubbish, as our two top items of production in America. So, when 6 out of 10 folks in America identify as Christian, that is hard to believe, only because if it were true, then more than 4% would be living with a Biblical worldview, and things such as this would not need to be produced and mentioned, or this, and our nation would be quite different than it is.

Can you deny that?

Read on, and open those links. And take it all in with a large grain of salt, as few truly are a light unto the world, the salt of the earth, as so few know, read, believe every word contained therein, and so few obey faithfully living out the Word of God and what it means to be a true child of God, a true follower of the LORD Jesus Christ.

Oh, and it isn’t about religion. Being religious. Going to church. Belonging to a denomination. It never has been. I’m religious about eating, taking showers, wearing clothes, and many other things. None of which will get me to heaven. Neither will being religious about anything else. Other than being religious in truth and no longer in delusion. It’s always and only been about God, the LORD Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the whole Holy Bible, and our relationship to Them and it.

Reflecting on our new Religious Landscape Study

Dear _____________,

I’m excited to share with you the latest findings from Pew Research Center’s newly published Religious Landscape Study (RLS). This extensive survey, conducted in 2007, 2014, and most recently in 2023-24, takes a deep dive into the religious affiliations, beliefs and practices of more than 35,000 Americans. That’s enough to paint a statistical portrait of religion and spirituality not only nationally, but also in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, as well as in 34 of the largest metro areas.

Religion plays an important role in American life, shaping people’s values, their communities, and even their political views. Yet the U.S. Census Bureau doesn’t track religious affiliation, making studies like this essential for filling the gap. Our goal is to provide reliable, nonpartisan data that helps scholars, policymakers, religious leaders and the public make sense of religious trends.

The latest RLS uncovers some interesting shifts. The decline of Christianity in the U.S. has slowed and may have leveled off, but demographic patterns suggest that we could see further declines in religious affiliation in the years ahead. At the same time, spiritual beliefs – including that humans have a soul or spirit apart from the body – are widespread among Americans both young and old, across the whole country.

This study wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of The Pew Charitable Trusts and our valued donor partners, including the Lilly Endowment, the Templeton Religion Trust, The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations and the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. Their commitment to rigorous, independent research allows us to continue to ensure that data on religion and spirituality in the U.S. is available to all.

We invite you to explore the full report and dive into our interactive database, where you can take a closer look at religious trends by state and demographic group. As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts on these findings.

With appreciation,

Michael Dimock

President, Pew Research Center
