Do we obey? Does Christ have preeminence in all things with us? Do we live with Jesus Christ the Lord as our Head?

How many of us can sit in our homes, in our churches, in our silent secret places, in our daily lives and declare with conviction in truth  — THAT IN ALL THINGS HE (JESUS CHRIST THE LORD) MIGHT HAVE PREEMINENCE?

Or is it more our will, our self first, the world that receives preeminence in almost everything?

Where does that leave Jesus Christ in our daily lives?

We are to OBEY the inerrant Word of God, and here in Colossians 1:18 we are instructed that in ALL THINGS we give Jesus Christ the Risen Lord, the Son of God PREEMINENCE.

I know I am ashamed to say I fall short and I do not live up to this and do not give Christ preeminence in all things in my life. Ashamed! And I need to do a much better job. Each day. Each hour. Each breath and heartbeat the Lord our God blesses me with.
