Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
“Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”

“I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”

Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Psalm 2

The world of men and women has never set aside their insatiable lust, never-ending vanity, and foolishness in constructing the Tower of Babel to supplant and push God out and place themselves as gods. The Tower of Babel, the actual physical tower of years past was broken down and the fools dispersed throughout the world.

That did not mean the end of the matter within the evil men.

No, all that meant was the whole world would be populated with people, the offspring containing this evil ideology and idolization of self — the main, largest, most actively practiced idol worship is…SELF! — never quenching the nightmare of their forefathers who imagined themselves on par with God, just as Lucifer did.

That spirit, that evil has never left this world or the hearts, the cold dead sin infected hearts and minds of men.

We live now in a worldwide Tower of Babel, only instead of a physical structure in what is present-day Iraq, which is in bed with Iran, Russia, and Turkey to name a few.

The present-day tower of Babel — if you do not believe this read Revelation 17.

To God, the whole world system is made up of the dispersed men of Babylon who carried with them the abominations, sins, and evil desires they had when they embarked on the idea to build a physical tower to replace God and make themselves gods.

Now we have, via electricity, electronics, and the rapid increase of knowledge at a rate heretofore never witnessed or imagined possible, technologies advancing by the day attempting to replicate the Tower of Babel worldwide, within individual’s lives, homes, workplaces, what they drive, their every aspect and waking and sleeping moment of life.

Don’t fear AI or the greatly advanced and enhanced AGI.

God is not mocked. Nor is He going to be removed.

The wickedness, vanity, and utter foolishness of men and women will receive just justice meted out by God their Creator. Exactly as in the Garden — only this time it will be eternal exile in the fiery pit of hell.

Novel Communist Chinese computing architecture “inspired by human brain” can lead to AGI, scientists say

Scientists in Communist  China have created a new computing architecture that can train advanced artificial intelligence (AI) models while consuming fewer computing resources — and they hope that it will one day lead to artificial general intelligence (AGI).

The most advanced AI models today — predominantly large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT or Claude 3 — use neural networks. These are collections of machine learning algorithms layered to process data in a way that’s similar to the human brain and weigh up different options to arrive at conclusions.

LLMs are currently limited because they can’t perform beyond the confines of their training data and can’t reason well like humans. However, AGI is a hypothetical system that can reason, contextualize, edit its own code and understand or learn any intellectual task that a human can.

Today, creating smarter AI systems relies on building even larger neural networks. Some scientists believe neural networks could lead to AGI if scaled up sufficiently. But this may be impractical, given that energy consumption and the demand for computing resources will also scale up with it.

Other researchers suggest novel architectures or a combination of different computing architectures are needed to achieve a future AGI system. In that vein, a new study published Aug. 16 in the journal Nature Computational Science proposes a novel computing architecture inspired by the human brain that is expected to eliminate the practical issues of scaling up neural networks.

“Artificial intelligence (AI) researchers currently believe that the main approach to building more general model problems is the big AI model, where existing neural networks are becoming deeper, larger and wider. We term this the big model with external complexity approach,” the scientists said in the study. “In this work we argue that there is another approach called small model with internal complexity, which can be used to find a suitable path of incorporating rich properties into neurons to construct larger and more efficient AI models.”

The human brain has 100 billion neurons and nearly 1,000 trillion synaptic connections — with each neuron benefitting from a rich and diverse internal structure, the scientists said in a statement. However, its power consumption is only around 20 watts.

Aiming to mimic these properties, the researchers used an approach focusing on “internal complexity” rather than the “external complexity” of scaling up AI architectures — the idea being that focusing on making the individual artificial neurons more complex will lead to a more efficient and powerful system.

They built a Hodgkin-Huxley (HH) network with rich internal complexity, where each artificial neuron was an HH model that could scale in internal complexity.

Hodgkin-Huxley is a computation model that simulates neural activity and shows the highest accuracy in capturing neuronal spikes — a pulse that neurons use to communicate with each other — according to a 2022 study. It has high plausibility for representing the firing pattern of real neurons, a 2021 study shows, and is therefore suitable for modeling a deep neural network architecture that aims to replicate human cognitive processes.

In the study, the scientists demonstrated this model can handle complex tasks efficiently and reliably. They also showed that a small model based on this architecture can perform just as well as a much larger conventional model of artificial neurons.

Although AGI is a milestone that still eludes science, some researchers say that it is only a matter of years before humanity builds the first such model — although there are competing visions of how to get there. SingularityNET, for example, has proposed building a supercomputing network that relies on a distributed network of different architectures to train a future AGI model.
