It is troubling, it is sad that so many professed Christians get so much wrong regarding God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and just about everything that is contained in God’s inerrant infallible unchangeable eternal living, and active Word.
Like this, rather familiar, I would hope;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
Jesus speaking. He Who Is God, He Who came to this earth fully truly a man fully truly God to sacrifice Himself on the tree of shame for the sin of anybody who would believe upon Him and repent and become one of His.
I don’t know about you, or any Bible you have or have read, or what might be read from the pulpit of the church you attend, but Jesus didn’t say, “My Father only loves Americans, or people living in the South of Spain, and Lutherans, Baptists, and some people in Guam, and only white people.”
No, can’t find that anywhere in the Holy Bible.
It does say though, in order to achieve understanding, context, and true spiritual wisdom;
“No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
John 3:13-21
And;
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,
Revelation 7:9
See Revelation 5 & Revelation 7
Also;
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:8
There’s more. So much more. Problem is what is spoken about below and why this is here is because so few ever take time to open and read, pray for discernment and spiritual understanding, of God’s holy Word! And if they do read anything? It’s more times than not misunderstood and the world is applied rather than applying God, applying Jesus, applying the Holy Spirit, applying spiritual discernment, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.
God’s wrath is revealed against sin. Period.
God loves everyone equally. He is…
For there is no partiality with God.
Romans 2:11
Need further clarity?
for there is no respect of persons with God.
Romans 2:11
God does not ignore or change His standards for anyone. You know what? God loves you, loves the murderer in prison, loves those neighbors that annoy you, loves that terrible person in your office, at your job that steals, that cheats on their spouse — just as much as God loved/loves the apostle Paul, Elijah, Moses…
…yeah, really.
Wrap your mind, wrap your heart around that truth. About God.
It’s people folks that are the problem, the fallen, the sinful, the corrupted, the ones in error, who misunderstand almost everything, mess things up, become confused, change their minds, and harbor hate and anger we ought not to. Not God.
God’s wrath is only against sin. And it is totally justified. For He is God. And who are you, who am I to challenge and contend with He Who has created us?
Maybe more time in the Holy Bible, much more time, perhaps more time, much more time, in humble, fervent spiritual prayer, much more time is in order for ALL OF US.

On an episode of “Unashamed,” Jase Robertson dove into the convoluted subject of anger. The Bible has no shortage of verses regarding the emotion that makes our blood boil and our fists clench. But it can be challenging to tease out exactly how Christians are to respond to that specific feeling.
Take the following verses from Ephesians 4 as an example.
Ephesians 4:26 : “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.”
Ephesians 4:31: “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.”
It’s easy to see how some might walk away confused about how they are to handle their own anger.
But Jase Robertson has a question for you: “Are you angry about the things that God is angry about?”
“There’s just some things that are so bad that happen to other humans that make us angry, and that’s okay, but the only thing we can do is leave room for God’s wrath. We got to move on and live a life of love in Christ Jesus,” he says.
And when it comes to the subject of God’s wrath, Jase says that’s where many Christians get it very, very wrong.

“About 80% of the text in the entire scripture that uses the word anger or angry are a reference to God … when somebody’s angry it’s usually God in the Bible,” says Al.
“Two-thirds of Jesus’ parables, when he got to the end, he was either talking about the resurrection or standing before God or judgment or hell,” Jase echoes, adding that “some people read Ephesians, and they start serving an angry God.”
These misguided people proclaim falsities like “God doesn’t love everybody,” he says, adding the notion is far more “controversial” than he ever imagined.
“I Googled it,” he admits. “Out of the top 30 searches … 28 of them” said something to the effect of “‘God didn’t love everybody,’ which I found troubling.”
Jase says that his Google search results reveal something profoundly concerning: A huge percentage of Christians sincerely believe that “God doesn’t love everybody” or that “He loves some people more than others.”
“I disagree with that profoundly,” says Jase.
To hear the Robertsons’ take on righteous anger, God’s wrath, as well as His love, watch the episode above.
