As with most things regarding most people in America they don’t really have a clue as to the government in which they live. Oh, they imagine they do, and come an election most have their favorite candidates or issue to vote for, again, really know little or nothing of the person or the real impact that issue will bring.

In that vein of ignorance folks generally are even more clueless as to the various agencies and departments within the American government. Why, most folks think the president is all-powerful [every president deludes themselves they are as well, so don’t be too hard on yourselves if you’re one of the folks thinking an American president has so much power] and that the Supreme Court makes laws!

This lack of knowledge goes even deeper when it comes to the powers of the Internal Revenue Service.

From the IRS website:

“The IRS is organized to carry out the responsibilities of the secretary of the Treasury under section 7801 of the Internal Revenue Code. The secretary has full authority to administer and enforce the internal revenue laws and has the power to create an agency to enforce these laws.”

The Internal Revenue Service does not adhere to the laws of the United States. Not like you or me. Not like any other agency or department in the American government. Don’t believe this? Well, take a few minutes and do a bit of homework and discover the vast power given the IRS. They are unlike any other agency or department in the American government.

And they are now going to be larger and more powerful than the Pentagon, FBI, State Department, and Border Control Department COMBINED.

The political use of the IRS is alive, well, and ongoing. How the IRS has come to resemble the FBI.

It is no surprise that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will impose penalties if you do not pay your tax bill. The agency is clear about its ability to fine taxpayers’ various penalties and fees and, in some cases, the potential for imprisonment for failure to meet our tax obligations.

But taxpayers are wise to take note: these are not the only penalties the IRS can apply. Another penalty you may not be aware of is the agency’s ability to take away your passport.

Is it legal for the IRS to take away a passport? Yes, the IRS has the legal power to revoke a passport as a tax penalty. The agency uses this power in cases where a taxpayer has a large tax bill.

The 1883 Pendleton Act and Hatch Act of 1939 may have been intended to depoliticize government bureaucracy and end the political spoils system, but that is not possible given human nature.

If in reading the words human nature you’re proclivity is to then have the thought, aww, people are inherently good, right?

Wrong. Dead wrong. Time to come to the reality side of things and that the inherent nature of human beings is to sin. The inherent nature is bent towards evil and away from righteousness, away from God. Human nature is bent towards selfishness, lying, and all things worthless in the sight of God while rejecting the things of God!

Folks in America can’t ever be bothered in knowing basic civics let alone what is contained in the Word of God to come to understand our inherent evil natures at enmity with God, in constant rebellion.

In world history, nothing ever happens overnight. Fascism never happens overnight or due to the firing of one shot, one person rising to power. There are many steps to falling at the grave of fascism and tyranny and in every case, it is THE PEOPLE of the place which helped usher in fascism. Once the people have helped assist in bringing about the oppression and tyranny outside of any reasonable laws, sense, freedoms, or liberties it is they who then bear the brunt of the boot upon their neck, or the special camps, or having everything they owned taken from them.

History always repeats because we the people refuse to pay attention or learn one stinkin’ thing along the way we’re too busy looking in the mirror worshipping ourselves, our idol worship, or loving paganism and all things at enmity with God rather than truly loving God, truly loving the Lord Jesus Christ who came from heaven to live among us and be nailed to a tree to bleed and die — for us — living in some bubble fantasy world created, living in denial, or just plain stupid about history and refusing to ever believe really terrible things can happen where you live in the period in which you live.

Well, folks, the good ‘ol days have come and gone — though they never really were — and from this point on it’s just going to get worse and worse and much worse.

Pessimism? Being depressed? Being negative?

No, just being Biblically aware, just being a Biblical realist.

You can place all your faith and trust in a politician, an election, a law, and vainly, foolishly imagine that somehow it’s all going to get better, we can make it better. Thus denying God, denying Christ, denying the Holy Spirit, and denying the Word of God.

It is not about we the people making anything better. Or an election or any government making things better.

It’s all only about whether are we truly God’s people while here. Are we truly transformed, born anew creatures by the power of the Spirit of God to be truly changed people to live as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ? Sojourners. Pilgrims. On this very temporary and passing sphere.

Or are we in the dark, being darkness, loving the world, placing faith in ourselves and in the agencies and governments and things of this world — all comprised and made up of sinful people? Many very evil folks in high places.

We the people, the overwhelming majority, are not even close to being aware or prepared for what is coming. And even those truly in Christ are only prepared in that they are sealed by the Holy Spirit and will receive eternal life after enduring what is coming.

It’s going to be the worst of times the world has ever seen in history [see Matthew 24 below]. Not being pessimistic, a “Debbie Downer,” bleak, depressing, or negative. As the world thinks or speaks or believes. Not at all. Actually, the exact opposite if one would take the time to learn and think deeply about reality, the reality told us in God’s Word .

And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

The Abomination of Desolation

“So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.

The Coming of the Son of Man

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The Lesson of the Fig Tree

No One Knows That Day and Hour

Keeping in mind the true nature of man and woman, and the power given to the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States under section 7801 of the Internal Revenue Service code, but nothing trumps the Word of God and the statutes, and prophecy contained within the Book of books.

Do not be deceived. Do not ever for an instant think or believe “it can’t happen here” as millions have in the past only to learn a bitter, very bitter lesson. Or that some election, some politician, some branch of human government, yes, even in America, is going to come along and make things better. Every election, every politician fuels that illusion and the people fall for the lies and delusion. When will people learn?

Ahh, they never will. That’s the rub! We never have, and we never will. Living lives of illusion and delusion rather than living in reality aware of the spiritual war, aware of God, aware of what is contained in the whole of God’s Word from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21.

A tyranny, fascism the likes of which has never been witnessed and never will be again has been and is in the works. Worldwide fascism. And, yes, with America playing its part in bringing this about. Satan and his ministers have not been deported or kept from our shores. Satan and his ministers, this carnal, fleeting world being their domain for a season are hellbent on ensnaring, seducing, misleading, and enslaving as many as possible before the Lord Jesus Christ appears in the clouds “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” [Matthew 24:27—King James Version]

Inflation is skyrocketing. Gas prices, despite Old Joe Biden’s crowing about minor reductions, are still substantially higher than they were before his presidency was inflicted upon us. America’s global standing is drastically diminished by Biden’s handlers’ catastrophically botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, due to the lack of preparedness of a politicized military distracted by wokeism. The Southern border is essentially nonexistent, and due to that as well as to the arrival of tens of thousands of unvetted Afghan migrants, there is an unknowable number of criminals and terrorists in the country who would have been kept out by remotely sane immigration policies. Amid all this and much more, Biden’s handlers are tackling the real problem facing America today: they’re expanding the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to the extent that, according to the Washington Free Beacon, it will soon be larger “than the Pentagon, State Department, FBI, and Border Patrol combined.”

Yes, it’s true. The people who run Joe Biden looked around at their dumpster fire of an administration, and the smoking ruin they have wrought, and decided that what America really needs are tens of thousands of new employees for the IRS.

The Free Beacon reported that “under the Inflation Reduction Act negotiated by Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.), the agency would receive $80 billion in funding to hire as many as 87,000 additional employees. The increase would more than double the size of the IRS workforce, which currently has 78,661 full-time staffers, according to federal data.” The new money that the agency would receive “would increase the agency’s budget by more than 600 percent. In 2021, the IRS received $12.6 billion.”

Why does the IRS need so many new full-time employees? Why does it need a six-hundred-percent budget increase? It’s all part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to squeeze the American middle class. The Free Beacon notes that according to “a Congressional Budget Office analysis,” the new behemoth IRS “would result in more than $200 billion in additional revenue for the federal government over the next decade.” This is because the new IRS agents would devote substantial energy to squeezing Americans and bleeding them dry: “Democrats say the hiring of additional IRS agents will help root out tax cheats and other criminals,” for “more than half of that funding is specifically earmarked for ‘enforcement,’ meaning tax audits and other responsibilities such as ‘digital asset monitoring.’”

It’s easy to see where all this is going. The new super-IRS will be as corrupt and politicized as the FBI already is, and would use its new staff and money to go after dissenters from the Leftist regime in Washington. The IRS is already one of the most hated and feared of all federal agencies, and one that was already politicized during Barack Obama’s first two terms, when the infamous Lois Lerner began persecuting conservative nonprofit organizations.

Back in the heady days of April 2017, then-House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady and then-Tax Policy Subcommittee Chairman Peter Roskam asked the Justice Department to reopen a probe into Lerner’s conduct. They wrote: “On April 9, 2014, the House Committee on Ways and Means voted to send a letter to the Department of Justice referring former IRS Exempt Organizations Division Director Lois G. Lerner for criminal prosecution. As indicated in the attached letter, the Committee’s nearly three-year investigation uncovered evidence of willful misconduct on the part of Ms. Lerner. Despite this fact, and for what many believe were purely partisan reasons, the prior Administration refused to review Ms. Lerner’s misconduct.”

Indeed. And that misconduct had to do with the politicization of the IRS: “In particular,” Brady and Roskam continued, “the Committee found that Ms. Lerner used her position to improperly influence IRS action against conservative organizations, denying these groups due process and protection rights under the law. The Committee also found she impeded official investigations by providing misleading statements in response to questions from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration. Finally, Lerner risked exposing, and may have actually disclosed, confidential taxpayer information, in apparent violation of Internal Revenue Code section 6103 by using her personal email to conduct official business.”

Nothing was done, of course, and now Lois Lerner’s friends and colleagues are back in power. They’re poised now with their new funding to make her look like an impartial, absolutely honest, trustworthy public official. It’s clear that Biden’s handlers, having already turned the Justice Department into a tool of his agenda, now wants to corrupt the IRS in a similar way, and turn it against those who dare to resist the implementation of his socialist, green agenda. Is there anyone among our elected officials in Washington who has the will to stop them in their ongoing efforts to corrupt the American system to its very core?
