“For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

Malachi 3:6 — King James Version

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Hebrews 13:8 — King James Version

An overwhelming number of people professing to be Christians are Bible illiterate. Lacking basic knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. Lacking Bible fluency because they have not, do not read, and seriously meditate and pray upon the Scriptures daily. Nor are they in churches that are Bible-centered, Bible-teaching, Bible-preaching, or Bible-believing.

Otherwise, such ignorance, such blatant errancy regarding the attributes of God, of what it means to be a true disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and a child of God would not be present and ever-growing.

God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God do not change nor adapt to suit the times or the whims and foolish beliefs of men and women.

Begin to finally discern wisely and rightly divide and understand the inerrant infallible living Word of God!

I once had a person tell me I didn’t need to write that the Holy Bible is inerrant and infallible, that Christians knew that without being told. Really? The facts, the sorry state of what passes for Christianity and Christian prove otherwise.

Does God Change? 48% of Evangelicals Think So.

When 48% of professing evangelicals believe that God learns and adapts to changing situations, it’s clear that there is a desperate need among Christians for better teaching. Listen as Ligonier Teaching Fellow Dr. Stephen Nichols responds to this surprising result from our 2022 State of Theology survey.

The world around us is constantly changing. Where can Christians go to find stability? Sadly, 48% of professing evangelicals* believe that even God changes, according to Ligonier’s 2022 State of Theology survey.

This astonishing finding seems to indicate a lack of clear teaching on the character of God. Scripture unreservedly declares that God is immutable, meaning He cannot and does not change (Mal. 3:6; James 1:17). He can never be caught off guard, nor can His sovereign purposes fail. In an ever-changing world, we can anchor our trust in Jesus Christ, who is “the same yesterday and today and forever” (Heb. 13:9).

Ligonier Teaching Fellow Dr. Stephen Nichols explains what happens when we fail to understand God as He has revealed Himself:
