Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about…

Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James,

To those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ:

May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.

Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jude urges believers to resist those who pervert the promises of grace into an excuse for feeding their sinful desires (Jude 4; cf. Titus 2:11–12). Rather than embracing this false teaching, Jude urges believers to make every effort to defend the true teachings of the Christian faith that had been delivered to them by the apostles (v. 3). The true gospel teaches us that God’s grace does not lead us away from our Master and Lord (v. 4). Grace liberates us by forgiving us and freeing us from our bondage to sin —by planting a loyal desire for Christ in our hearts. Because he has given himself for us, we give ourselves to him. The gospel transforms our desires from the inside out so that those who know the grace of God bear the fruit of godly action.

Sadly, we live in the Biblical times in which people do not fear the Lord. People pervert and greatly corrupt the beautiful, pure, inerrant infallible living Word of God to suit their personal relativistic beliefs, their selfish desires, lusts and perversions.

They make Jesus into a Jesus unknown and not within the words and pages of the Holy Bible.

This is an abomination. A terrible, sad sin and situation.

Making this sadder and much more important is the fact this refusing to understand or believe the Bible, this lack of fear of the Lord, this great and growing perversion and corruption of the beautiful, pure truthful Word of God is coming from within the so-called Christian church and denominations.

It is now widely accepted, and increasing, that practicing lesbian and homosexual pastors can lead flocks of professed Christian believers. I ask, believers in what? For surely this is only belief in the lies, darkness, lusts, delusions and such of the world and there is no understanding, no regeneration, no renewing of heart and mind, no serving and obeying God and Jesus in this, in their acts, words and ways.

We live in dangerous Biblical times.

So many wolves among the sheep. So many itching ears turning to fables, to self worship, to lusts and desires of this world rather than bowing to, obeying and serving the One True God and His Son, Who sacrificed so much for our sake.

Turn from sin. Turn from serving Satan and his evil leading to death. Turn from the myths, the fables, the worldly doctrines and the increasing number of false teachers and their unsound doctrines leading many astray using the Lord’s name in vain, using Christ for their purposes rather than humbling themselves, truly knowing and believing and seeking the Lord’s true purpose for them.

And it certainly is not in corrupting and perverting the beautiful Word of God to suit and fulfill their lusts, their sensualities, their selfish pleasures.
