Confusion Painting by Oleg Konin

If anyone even attempted to record the increased and horrific acts of violence occurring just today in the world, or the horrific acts of sexual depravity and immorality — what it is that men and women are doing to each other, doing to children, and what children are doing to other children all around this world JUST TODAY it would take more gigabytes of storage, more paper, more time to document and read through than a person’s lifetime to learn.

Just what is taking place TODAY.

If doubting that we are living in the days as Noah lived you have not been paying attention. You live in some fantasy world where you’ve been riding your unicorn and sprinkling fairy dust on everything you eat and drink refusing the reality before us.

Pause here for a moment and attempt to think of all the horrific acts of violence, crime, sexual assault, rape, sexual immorality, and depravity, the consuming lusts of self and of evil taking place just this very minute you’re pausing.

Can’t do it.

Our mind, and if one of God’s people, our spirit won’t be capable.

Now think about God who knows everything. Every thought of every person on earth all the time. Every hair on their head. Every sparrow that falls. Everything that is done everywhere by everyone on earth. Always.

Now think about the forbearance of God. The love of God. The mercy of God.

Can anyone delay any further in not repenting and turning back to the Lord and becoming a true light unto the world? The salt of the earth? A living example of the Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit residing within them?

Will we continue on as we have or finally, truly live as Christ followers? No longer pretending and just going through the motions.

You better believe we’re living in the days of Noah and the time is short for this world as it has been known and that the Lord is coming back sooner rather than later.

Things are only going to get worse. Not better.

The Parable of the Fig Tree

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

No One Knows the Day or Hour

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

The Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant

“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 24:32-51

If deluded, if refusing this truth then you have not read the Bible. Then you do not believe the Holy Bible and God’s inerrant infallible unchanging living and active Word. Perhaps you’ve read some of the Bible. Perhaps you pick and choose what to read treating God’s Word like a restaurant menu rather than the food and drink of eternal life eating and drinking of its EVERY word.

And no man or woman, no election, nothing a group, a weak of the world pastor, an ideology can do, nothing by or of the will of man, woman, or child will bring about the delusions they cling to, who they put faith in if it is anyone else, anything other than the God, the Jesus THEE Messiah, the Holy Spirit of the Jewish and Christian Holy Bible.

The politicians, the people people put so much time and thought into mean nothing — will accomplish nothing unless we the people repent and turn back to God. The elect of Christ are the solution — not the elect of any political party or the result of any political election. I know people who are professed Christians who believe anything they hear or read from a person or about a person professing to be a Christian independent of the fruit, the words, the life that person professing such faith bears. Where is discernment in these times? Careful and wise discernment? Have we not learned anything yet?

Do you not think that if 6 out of 10 Americans who claim to be Christian were truly living what it means to be a Bible-believing, Bible-trusting, Bible-living Christ follower this nation would be utterly different than it is?

How is it that in the most reliable and viable of surveys conducted only 4% of the population possess a Biblical worldview while about 63% claim to be Christian? Being a Chrisitan means being A CHRIST FOLLOWER. BEING BORN AGAIN. LIVING ACCORDING TO THE HOLY BIBLE NOT ACCORDING TO THE WORDS AND WAYS OF THE WORLD.

Here is one brief example;

Ronald Reagan was a very good president. An exceptional president. He quoted Scripture, mentioned God frequently, and was considered to be a godly and Christian man — a man who did not make one political or policy move or make travel plans without consulting his wife, Nancy, who consulted and took the counsel daily of astrologers and psychics, and ungodly unrighteous pagans no different than any of those who counseled the wicked kings and rulers in the Holy Bible. No different. A person cannot be a true Christian, born anew, renewed of mind and spirit, and consult and live their lives according to what their astrologers tell them. Not according to me — according to the Word of God. Just saying one is a Christian does not make it so. One must be truly born again. Changed from within. According to Jesus the Lord. And then? Then by the fruit a person bears it will be known.

Make no mistake. I liked Ronald Reagan. I do believe he was one of America’s best presidents. In the top five all-time best for America and the world. But I’m also objective. Not blindly adoring a person. Not placing my faith in a person. Not only paying attention to that which sits well with me about a person. But when knowing more of the truth about what he believed and what motivated him we need to be objective, reason, and think critically and honestly. He relied daily on the advice of pagan astrologers. He may have read the Bible — Satan knows every word in the Holy Bible and can quote it from beginning to end if he needed to, twisting it of course, but he knows every word as it is written. No human being can quote the entire Holy Bible, but the devil could — perhaps President Reagan read the Bible daily, perhaps, but reading and applying are very different things. It is well documented by reliable sources that were very close to Ronald and Nancy Reagan that Ronnie did not make one move any day or night without taking the advice of astrologers.

If you don’t believe this because of an opinion held and you just can’t accept this as factual then find out the truth for yourself. Because that’s what we all ought to be doing every day in everything. Always. Relentlessly. Not growing lazy or weary in learning the truth. As best we can.

This is only one small example.

We do not know, and cannot be aware of the hearts and minds of other people. Only God knows. But we are instructed to discern well and wisely and not just take everything as it comes along as fact and the truth.

Let’s stop being naive and so trusting of the world. And much more learned and trusting in the Word and the Lord, shall we? Repenting as we all need to do.

Rather than only looking at what pleases us, only looking at 10% of some information or story why don’t we dive in and digest the rest? Much more? In order to discern well and wisely?

Jesus and the religious leaders, the Roman leaders in Isreal during Christ’s human lifetime on this earth, and what He always, always said to them ought to be an example to us.

Faith is NOT blind. Faith is achieved through facts, history, viable understandable wisdom, and knowledge. Nothing blind about it and no one ought to exercise blind faith which is a faith founded in ignorance and not spiritual wisdom or understanding. Not an understanding according to the will and Word of God.

Pray for authority. Respect authority. Serve authority. As God’s Word tells us we are to do.

But when that authority at any place along the line of authority goes against the Word of God? Then we are to speak the words, live the faith, and live according to the words of that same apostle who made the statement I mention below;

Apostles on Trial Again

But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported, saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!” Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these things, they wondered what the outcome would be. So one came and told them, saying, “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!”

Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!”

But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

Acts 5:22-32

Judgment begins in the Church. An apostle wrote that, said that, the very same apostle who spoke directly to the high priest of the Sanhedrin the uppermost top of the top religious leader of the time in the passage above — this apostle directly moved by the Holy Spirit working in him. If you doubt this or are unaware put a Holy Bible into your hands and its words into your heart and mind and find such things. Such truth. Such meat and drink to live on.

Religion isn’t the answer or solution. Nor are religious leaders, politicians, or people we tend to put faith in. Ever been disappointed, or let down in this life? Wow. Imagine that…

So Who or what ought we to place all our faith, trust, hope, and desire in? More time and effort in?

Attending a church to attend a church isn’t the answer or solution. Especially if it is a weak, lost, more of the world than the Word place.

Only Christ, only Jesus, only God, only the Holy Spirit, and only faith and obedience in Them and to Their living active inerrant infallible unchanging Word is THEE answer, THEE solution. For anything and anyone everywhere no matter who, no matter where, no matter when, or what a person may be going through.

REVIVAL BEGINS IN THE INDIVIDUAL.

Not in a big tent with a rock band and everyone jumping around.

Where is the spiritual maturity? Just showing up at a church, receiving a weak, watered-down message, or one of unsound doctrine, and then leaving and going about in self-directed ways the remaining six days of the week? After sitting and listening to a weak message from a weak pastor in a lukewarm assembly?

Walking out saying to each other, “Wasn’t that a great message!?” like some robot or AI program rather than a truly discerning and wisely judging born anew Christ follower unafraid to speak the truth to others in these times.

Wake up!

Take the required action, according to the whole Word of God.

It begins with me. With you. With your pastor. With your neighbors. With your friends and relatives.

For we truly are living in the days of Noah. All sense, reason, logic, morals, objective, and critical thought are tossed aside. Anything and everything goes and is permitted. Whatever an individual believes is true even when that is the grossest and errant of beliefs.

Wake up!

Take the necessary actions.

Today. For this moment is all that is given.

What are we waiting for people?

An election outcome?

How foolish, how shallow, how pretending to be the people of God…

The world has a saying regarding insanity;

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting different results.”

How more so the spiritually weak and immature, the pretenders rather than the defenders this applies to. Are you committing spiritual insanity before God, before Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ, before the Holy Spirit, and expecting a different result?

Expect and require more of yourself for the Lord. Expect and require more of your pastor and church if it is weak in the Word if it is more about entertainment and storytelling, and if the pastor is trying to be a stand-up comic rather than a vessel, an instrument wherein the Holy Spirit is using to convey the most important and needed message to the congregation that day. Maturity rather than tolerating and accepting immaturity and mediocrity. Holding each other accountable — even pastors — rather than adopting the philosophies and doctrines of our times in accepting and approving of weakness.

Do not accept mediocrity in yourself, your pastor, or the church you attend. Never. The times require we not remain in neutral accepting such from ourselves or others in the faith.

Humm…perhaps more time, much more time in deep reading, study, and meditation within the Word of God — deeply thinking and doing more than pondering actually putting into practice what is read, and more time, oh so much more time in fervent humble SPIRITUAL prayer is required. For individuals, for pastors, for the Bible study group, for the Church is needed.

Not asking for the new Cadillac or Lexus, or dishwasher or that the person you have your eyes on fall in love with you, or any other earthly, material desire being greater than a spiritual supplication before the throne of God but that…

“Lord Your will be done on earth as in heaven Your Kingdom come.”

Knowing that our turning, our sin requires repentance and a turning back to the Lord. Find and know every example of this in God’s Word. Oh, and there is a great source for this which is ignored by most professing to be Christian — it’s called the Old Testament, it’s called the whole Holy Bible, which according to the 2024 in-depth State of the Bible in America only 18% of the American population are engaged in the Holy Bible. And of this 18% only about 43% say they engage the Holy Bible at least once a week — and that is mostly when they attend a church on a Sunday. With only about 6% saying they turn to the Word of God daily. A solid 50% say they only turn to the Bible about once a year!

While over 6 out of 10 Americans claim to be Christians.

Really? Who do we think we’re kidding?

Laughable were it not so horrific and tragic the lies, the delusion, the pretending taking place in this land.

And we wonder why America, we wonder why people, we wonder why the world is as it is.

We are responsible for what we receive. Either good gifts and blessings or the wrath of God.

“Lord Your will be done on earth as in heaven Your Kingdom come.”

And all things will be added unto you. If faithful above all else. In THEE faith. THEE only true and living faith — God as Father, Jesus as Lord and Messiah, the Holy Spirit, and in the Word of God as God’s breathed words to man and woman and child for our living our life!

Who wants to attempt to think about every act of violence, sexual depravity, and immorality, every horrific act men and women and children are committing upon their fellow men, women and children?

But we need to know this, understand this, and not shy away from it in order to turn ever closer to God and His ways, His Word, and His Son.

Hiding from reality only leads to a life of delusion and malnourishment in the spirit and the truth.

What the people of this world do to each other ought to be known and thus draw an individual closer to God than ever before.

This time, in this age, as we are in the days of Noah — now worldwide — building an ark, a bunker, a rocket thinking you can somehow blast your way from what is and what is to come will not save you. The flood of sin, mayhem, confusion, chaos, lies, delusion, violence, abominations, pain, suffering, and evil can only be spared from building a true, REAL relationship, a ship, an ark, a life committed to, around, in, with and for the Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s all about Jesus.

It’s all about God.

It’s all about the Holy Spirit.

It’s all about the whole Word of God.

It’s all about what an individual does with those truths.

Thusly…

Only being renewed of mind and spirit. Born anew.

Or rejecting the truth. And suffering the consequences of such a decision.

In Christ a person will be able to, is able to…

…withstand the times. Able to spend one’s eternity in heaven with the Lord rather than in hell where the absence of God will be the greatest pain and torture a soul would ever have to endure.

Oh, brother, sister in THEE faith, friend, foe, contentious one, pagan unbeliever we are surely in the days as Noah lived…

As in the Days of Noah

We Live in a Corrupt World Filled with Violence

July 23, 2024

Reprinted from End Times Bible Prophecy

When the disciples asked Jesus to describe the signs of His coming and the end of the age, He pointed to many signs. But one of the most often overlooked is the idea that when He returns, the world will be “like it was in the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37-41).

Does life today look anything like it did in the days of Noah? If so, we have yet another reason to expect the soon return of Jesus. So what were those days like?

We don’t need to guess. We know exactly what those days were like. Both the book of Genesis and Jesus Himself tell us.

The World in the Days of Noah

The Bible tells us that God looked upon the world in Noah’s day and saw corruption, violence, and wickedness (Genesis 6:11). In fact, humans were so wicked, they continuously thought of nothing but evil (Genesis 6:5).

As in Noah’s day, the world today is filled with wickedness, corruption, and violence. And while we may not yet be to the point where every thought of mankind is continuous evil (we can’t know what’s in everyone’s mind), a look at what’s happening in our world shows we’re very close.

For example, think of some of the degenerate and evil TV programs that invade people’s minds on a daily basis. Programs that portray murder, rape, torture, and sexual immorality of every kind. In fact, sometimes the commercials are worse than the shows. And that’s just television. When you think of all the other messages society assaults us with every minute of every day, how could our minds not be fixed on continual evil?

Our world is also home to a constant flood of violence. Less than two weeks ago, we witnessed the attempted assassination of former U.S. president, and current presidential frontrunner, Donald Trump. While this was a high-profile act of violence, most shooting incidents go unmentioned. In fact, here are some of the headlines from my local area as of the day I’m writing this article (July 22, 2024). I’m sure if you visit your own local news sites, you’ll find something similar:

Even mass shootings are ubiquitous. I’ve lived my whole life in Virginia, growing up in the City of Chesapeake and attending college at James Madison University. And yet, four mass shootings have taken place in areas I’ve frequented in the past:

1) On April 16, 2007, a mass shooting resulted in 32 people dead at Virginia Tech, a place I’ve regularly visited throughout my life.

2) On May 31, 2019, a mass shooting at Building 2 of the City of Virginia Beach Municipal Center resulted in 12 people dead. This is a building I once regularly visited as part of my work for a previous employer.

3) On November 13, 2022, a mass shooting resulted in three people dead at the University of Virginia. My wife and I were engaged on the steps of the Rotunda at UVA in 2005.

4) On November 23, 2022, a mass shooting resulted in six people dead at a Wal-Mart in Chesapeake – the city I grew up in. I had been to that Wal-Mart numerous times since the early 1990’s.

Do I bring this up to draw attention to myself? Absolutely not. I find it hard to believe I’m alone in my connection to the locations of multiple mass shootings. I know I’m not. Unfortunately, you can probably cite similar examples in your own life, which just goes to show – we live in a world filled with violence.

Why It Matters

Why is all of this important? Because Jesus said these same conditions will be present in the time just before His return. We see them, and this is just one of many signs that indicate we live in the season of the Lord’s return.

Do we see any other similarities between today’s world and pre-flood mankind? I believe we do, and combined with what we’ve discussed so far, we can know we live in a world that’s “as in the days of Noah.” Let’s look at three additional similarities between the world of Noah’s day and our world today:

1) The World Is Ignorant

The overwhelming majority of people on earth today remain ignorant of the coming rapture of the church, the seven-year Tribulation, and God’s impending judgment. Noah and his family were the only ones who prepared for the flood. The Bible doesn’t tell us what everyone else’s reaction to Noah’s ark building efforts were, but we can imagine his neighbors likely responded with mocking and ridicule. At the very least, they were indifferent.

In a similar way, people today ridicule those who look forward to the rapture of the church and the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ. And the Bible tells us this is a sign of the last days. Almost 2,000 years ago, Peter warned us. He said, in the last days, people will mock the idea of Christ’s return. He claimed they would say exactly what we hear today:

“Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, ‘What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.’” (2 Peter 3:3-4)

Most people today don’t know what’s in the Bible. They mock what they think is silly, just as they most likely ridiculed Noah for building a boat on dry land.

In the days of Noah, people were unaware of the judgment about to take place. According to Jesus, they lived normal lives right up until the moment of their own destruction. They ate. They drank, and they hosted parties. The entire time, they remained ignorant of what was just around the corner. They were oblivious to the coming flood.

Likewise, the people of our world remain ignorant of, and oblivious to, the rapture of the church and the coming judgment of the seven-year Tribulation.
