Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! Why would you have the day of the LORD? It is darkness, and not light,

Amos 5:18 — English Standard Version

Woe to the Oppressors

Woe to those who devise wickedness and work evil on their beds! When the morning dawns, they perform it, because it is in the power of their hand. They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them away; they oppress a man and his house, a man and his inheritance. Therefore thus says the Lord: behold, against this family I am devising disaster, from which you cannot remove your necks, and you shall not walk haughtily, for it will be a time of disaster.

Micah 2:1-3 — English Standard Version

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

Isaiah 5:20 — English Standard Version

I wonder how many people in the West actually ever think about what is taking place every minute of every hour of every day in the Middle East. In Gaza, in the West Bank, in Israel, in rooms and tunnels and places dark and thought to be secret in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and the like.

I wonder how many people, upon hearing or reading the word Hamas are numb to what it truly is and does.

Hamas is not just a word, a name to grow numb to. Hamas is the vile, purely evil temporary human head of power lording over the Palestinian people — and the people of the world. Not just a terrorist organization. Which we tend to catalog, stick in its desired and proper niche in the filing cabinet and grow numb to. Hamas is the tyrannical, lying FASCIST tentacle of temporary power allowed to do whatever it desires over the Palestinian people. Hamas mostly steals, lies, murders, maims and causes fear.

Hamas cares not one inkling about the welfare of the Palestinian people. Hamas steals every minute of every hour or every day tens of millions of dollars from Western nations humanitarian aid, from the naïve donations of various faith-based organizations and private organizations all believing their money is going for medicines, healthcare, education, clothing, food and the like for the Palestinian people in dire straights. All those people under the dung drenched iron fist of Hamas. All those people duped, or living in fear of Hamas. All those people placing their faith in Hamas that they will be the ones to liberate them and exterminate the Jews and remove Israel.

Hamas is not just a word. Not just a terrorist organization. Hamas is not only generously funded on a constant regular basis from organizations such as CAIR, and other Islamic organizations around the world, but by many Islamic governments. By many so-called Western humanitarian organizations who have their money stolen, the goods sent stolen and sold to buy arms and weapons.

Do not be naïve.

While there are some, perhaps even many Palestinian people who do desire to live in peace, sadly, far too many others have been brainwashed since infancy, and educated in what passes for their schools, in the utter hatred of all Jews, that all Jews, and ALL PEOPLE OF THE WEST, all non-Islamists are the enemy and need to be removed. This is taught to their babies, in their so-called schools. Money is channeled into this and in building up weapons and armament reserves to kill Jews and any and all non-Islamists. Period.

Most do not seek peace. Peace is as alien to them, desired less by them than owning a ski lodge in Sundance, Utah, perfecting their skiing technique, and standing in line for the Sundance Film Festival will sipping a half decaf double-talk ridiculous lingo fake coffee order like every other clueless person standing in those lines.

Let’s begin using words correctly. Let’s begin saying things as they truly are.

Let’s pray in earnest for the Palestinian people that the invincible, all-powerful, mightier than any and all other things Spirit of God works in the hearts and minds of some, that those seeds of light and truth grow within the people. At least some of them — for let us also be wise enough to know the constant, never a truce, never a respite, never any peace ongoing family feud, spiritual and physical war between the offspring of Isaac and Ishmael will not end until our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, the living Son of God returns a second time and sets His foot upon the Mount of Olives and all that was before ceases to be. Do not desire this day! Woe to any and all who do, as the Word of God instructs us in the Book of Amos. Pray dear ones, pray for light and truth to be revealed. Pray for the infinite beyond our comprehension and wisdom Spirit of God to work in the hearts and minds within the darkness, and within the minds and hearts of those walking in the light who have grown complacent or drink from the ways and words of the world more than the ways and words of the Lord.

Revive our hearts and minds. Let us seek purity, light, truth and all the ways of the Lord over any and all ways of this world — and let us not walk blindly, naïve or foolishly within our own minds. Pray in earnest more are saved. More come out from the darkness, from complacency, from myths and vain imaginings and into the truth and the light. In complete faith in the whole Word of God knowing as evil grows, as the lies increase, as the shadow of darkness appears to increase that God Almighty, God our Father and Jesus our Lord, with the Holy Spirit are in control of all things. Their plan being worked out. And, our constant, fervent prayers are within that plan. We just need to uphold our end, our faith, our promises to make Jesus Lord of our lives and God our Father and the spiritual more important than the physical world which will pass away from the evil hearts and minds of men. One day. But let none of us wish it upon anyone, let none of us cheer on the coming of the Day of the Lord which will bring darkness and end any and all opportunity for eternal life from that moment on…let us pray for our enemies, let us pray for the liars, the thieves, the deluded, the brainwashed, the duped that the infinite power of the Spirit of God set upon, alight within them and removed the darkness within them bringing them into the Way, the Light, the Truth and the Life…

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

Isaiah 5:20 — English Standard Version

Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

Amos 5:18 — King James Version

Woe to the Oppressors

Woe to those who devise wickedness and work evil on their beds! When the morning dawns, they perform it, because it is in the power of their hand. They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them away; they oppress a man and his house, a man and his inheritance. Therefore thus says the Lord: behold, against this family I am devising disaster, from which you cannot remove your necks, and you shall not walk haughtily, for it will be a time of disaster.

Rajab Dakah and Rami Amoudi were arrested last month.

Israel’s domestic intelligence agency, the Shin Bet, recently exposed a Hamas espionage ring operating in Israel. The ring is part of a wider and more disturbing trend, in which Hamas cynically exploits humanitarian channels to orchestrate terrorist attacks against Israelis.

Hamas is determined to conduct non-stop efforts to pull off mass-casualty attacks against Israelis, and the Israeli defense establishment is constantly thwarting such plots in time, mostly behind the scenes – creating a false impression of security calm.

In actuality, Hamas’s military wing in the Gaza Strip is interested in turning Israel’s streets into scenes of bloodshed and chaos – a dark vision that Israel’s intelligence and security communities work around the clock to prevent.

Hamas’s efforts include bombings, shootings, kidnappings, and the Shin Bet disrupts hundreds of such plots every year.

On Monday, the Shin Bet announced that it had stopped a Hamas spy ring. Two Gazan men who received Israeli citizenship under a law that reunites families divided between Israel and Palestinian areas, were recruited into the ring.

They were ordered to gather information on sensitive targets inside Israel for the purpose of future deadly attacks, according to the Shin Bet investigation.

Yet this pattern of conduct is not isolated. One of the primary tactics chosen by Hamas to implement its policy is to take advantage of humanitarian channels, such as the entry of Gazan medical patients into Israel for hospital treatment.

Hamas in Gaza uses such patients to pass on instructions, funding, and sometimes, weapons to terror cells that are forming in the West Bank. The spy ring most recently broken up, relying on the Family Reunification Law – humanitarian legislation designed to bring families together is part of this larger pattern.

Hamas’s military command in the Gaza Strip has a department known as the ‘West Bank headquarters,’ and it is this outfit that is in charge of organizing most such attacks.

The West Bank headquarters’ activities include the 2018 attempt to set up a bomb production center near Hebron, as well as a terror cell that would strike inside Israel, with potential targets including a high profile building, a train, bus, or shopping mall. Hamas used a mother of nine from Gaza, who received an Israeli approval to accompany her sick sister into Israel for cancer treatment, to deliver messages to the bomb-maker.

Last March, during an escalation with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Israel Air Force struck a part of a building in Gaza City’s Rimel neighborhood that housed the West Bank headquarters. The IDF described it at the time as the body responsible for directing terrorist attacks, building terror infrastructures, transmitting instructions for terror activities, and transferring money for financing these activities.

In the latest case to be revealed by Israel’s security forces, the Hamas’s military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, sought out Gazans with Israeli citizenship to exploit their ability to move back and forth between Israel and Gaza.

The Shin Bet arrested two suspects on Jan. 2, naming them as Rami Amoudi, a 30-year-old man who has been living in Tel Aviv since November, and who is originally from Khan Younis in southern Gaza, and Rajab Dakah, 34, originally from Gaza who moved to Israel in 2017.

Amoudi’s mother is Jewish-Israeli, while Dakah’s mother is an Israeli-Arab citizen living in Lod, in central Israel, making both of them eligible for Israeli citizenship through the Family Reunification Law. Dakah left his wife and five children in Gaza to move to Israel, and traveled back to visit them every few months.

The Shin Bet investigation found that the two were recruited by Hamas while they were still in Gaza, and then dispatched to Israel to conduct hostile espionage missions.

They were told to purchase cellular phones and SIM cards to maintain secret communications with their Hamas handlers.

Their missions allegedly included photographing a variety of defense installations in central Israel, such as military bases, police facilities, and the locations of Iron Dome air defense batteries, the Shin Bet stated.

They were also ordered to gather information about defense officials, and to relay information about where rockets fired from Gaza last November made impact.

The Shin Bet named Matkael Ratzia, 32, from Bet Lahiah in northern Gaza, a Hamas military operative who recruited and activated Dakah.

The two suspects in Israeli custody were charged at Israel’s Central District Court in recent days with severe security offenses. They entered Israel via the Erez pedestrian border crossing, which is often used by Hamas to terrorism.

Last July, the Shin Bet uncovered an attempt by an explosives expert who was trained by the Hamas military wing to enter Israel through the Erez Crossing.

Fadi Abu al-Sabah, 35, a resident of Nusseirat in the Gaza Strip, was ordered to establish a lab in the West Bank for the production of high powered explosives, which were supposed to be used in bombings to murder Israelis. He received a medical permit from Israel to leave Gaza via Erez, and had training on how to get through Israeli questioning and any deny links with his Hamas military wing handlers and trainers, a previous Shin Bet investigation had found last year.

And as the Investigative Project on Terrorism reported last March, Hamas is in the habit of siphoning off infrastructure materials that Israel transfers into Gaza for civilian use to build up its terror army.

Pipes meant for waste plants end up as rocket bodies that are aimed at Israeli cities. Generators intended for civilians end up in underground terror tunnels, powering lights and other electric needs, and medical oxygen tanks earmarked for hospitals go to tunnel diggers. Hamas also regularly exploits Gaza’s civilian mail system to try to import dual use equipment that has both civilian and military purposes to build up its attack capabilities. Those shipments include chemicals that fuel rockets, generators for tunnel digging, drones, digital microscopes, biometric equipment, cell phones designed for rugged field conditions, and fiberoptic cables.

There is little reason to believe that Hamas’s well established pattern of taking advantage of humanitarian openings to promote terrorism will change any time soon. Israel’s security forces will continue to be on high alert for such dangerous activities, while remaining committed to the goal of assisting Gaza’s civilians where possible, despite Hamas’s activities.
