ACP — A Crooked Path

Return to the Lord

“Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;
and rend your hearts and not your garments.”
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster.

Joel 2:12-13 — English Standard Version

The problem is very clear. The solution is very simple. America has degenerated over many decades into an ever more sinful, ever darker, ever more distancing from God, ever more mocking, spitting upon Jesus, denying the Holy Spirit, and treating the Word of God in reprehensible ways words are inadequate to describe.

Haven’t even mentioned the tens of millions of babies murdered, making the laws lawlessness, tearing down the foundations and more sin, more abominations, more immorality, more idol worship, more making oneself and others into gods, more paganism and less godliness and doing what is right.

There isn’t room nor time.

Fess up America! One and all! We’re all sinners. We’re all complicit. We all need forgiveness, we all need to acknowledge and confess our sins with a truly rendered, torn heart not mere lip service or pretending, and we all must sincerely, deeply repent.

So, to take a step in that right direction, aside from reading this, getting on your knees in prayer, opening and reading the Bible asking God to provide His Spirit for wisdom and discernment of His Word — if you really want to believe we’re in this together, unlike the lies and propaganda we’ve heard about all being in this together, which we are not, which is evident by our rebellion, our cities ablaze, the destruction taking place, the imposing of fear, the increasing anarchy, the escalating and acceptance of fascism — if you truly want to be enjoined together?

Then come with a truly contrite heart. A desiring spirit. A willing mind. And seek genuine repentance, and ask that this be made known across the land, and to the highest government office in the land!

Open the following. Read it. Sign it. Send it along;

As One Nation Under God, We the People Ask President Trump to Designate July 14th as the National Day of Repentance

And do not wait until July 14th. Do not procrastinate. Do not hesitate. Do not tarry.

Begin today. Continue daily. Partake on July 14th, certainly, but abide in fervent, large, FAITHFUL prayer daily in this.

Let others know.

Not only those you know who truly believe and are disciples of Jesus. Let the unbelieving know. Let those walking in darkness know. Let it ring out all across this sin-filled darkness filled evil worshipping self-indulgent rebellious land and it’s people know!

For the Spirit of the Lord can be poured out on our people and our land if we truly repent.

Otherwise further, much harsher and trying judgments will come. More suffering. More pain. More trials.

Have faith in the goodness, mercy, compassion, forgiveness, and love of the Lord.

He will uphold His promise to show mercy and forgiveness on those, on a nation that truly repents and returns to its righteous ways forsaking its evil and sinful ways.

Psalm 5 —- King James Version

Consider My Meditation

{To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David.} Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
