ACP — A Crooked Path
You’ve found yourself here, somehow, for whatever reason.
Do you find this place a fitting place? A place where you believe you could come back to, find things here you might not elsewhere, or at least have many available things at hand in this one place?
Are you a subscriber to the email newsletter?
You may have noticed if you’ve been here a bit there are no ads anywhere. No popups. Nothing annoying except perhaps something I write from time to time — but still, you’re here!
Why not subscribe? The worst that happens is on a day I am really at it you’ll receive either one email with a number of articles and or videos listed, or depending on your provider you’ll receive individual emails when I post something new. Without ads. Without asking or expecting you to buy something.
What I am promoting and have been for over 10 years now isn’t purchased with money and the price paid for it by the Lord Jesus Christ is beyond all the treasure, money, resources, and all of the universe. Nothing compares to the price the Lord paid to redeem sinners such as we should we be blessed to hear Him, find Him, come to Him, and be saved by His atoning blood and our faith.
Sure, you’re going to find a lot of current events material. Hopefully, you see how what is posted relates to the Biblical times we’re all living in. I believe pastors, preachers, ministers ought to preach to the times, and those professing to be true Christians having the ability to oversee a website ought to publish to the times as well.
Sure, I write difficult sentences at times. They may end up becoming some of the longest sentences and difficult to read you encounter. I may use words no longer in general use. Or I may write some of the shortest things you’ll encounter as well.
I know.
I never claimed to be a good writer.
I’m keenly aware.
Of it all.
Just a simple servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Able to do what I do however I’m able to muddle through and put what I can together. Making a lot of errors along the way. I don’t mean just typos or grammatical errors — I’m writing now of errors of being human. Having weaknesses. All that entails being a human being in the flesh, a sinner, a man that can vanish in one breath or one heartbeat. I know my shortcomings and they are many. Any strength or ability in anything I may do is only by the grace and will of God. Not of my own doing.
I rarely do this. Post something of this nature, that is.
If you’ve been around awhile you know that. If you’re new here you’ll come to know this.
But if you aren’t a subscriber? Why not? Make it easy on yourself.
Why am I doing this now?
For a couple of reasons. Primarily far too many folks that do drop by do so only using Facebook. And I’ve asked, written, pleaded in the past on more than a couple of occasions to please ween off of Facebook and come directly to the website. But, alas, my composing those requests and posting them went unread, unheeded, and ignored. Folks are addicted to Facebook. And that is a habit that if people do not break on their own? Facebook and the government will break it for them because the status quo will not continue.
Pay attention to the signs. Everywhere. And increasing.
Heed the warnings. See. Hear. Inhale and cough from the disgusting rot of evil in the air.
Yeah, I can be quite redundant as well.

I’m not a scholar, I’m not a journalist, I’m not a professional.
Okay, Facebook addiction and how things are going to change as to what can be found on Facebook one day sooner than later is one reason. The main one.
Another?
Ease, comfort, everything from that day in one place to scroll through and find what may be of interest. In a very readable easy to look through format.
Then, if that day’s postings aren’t something of interest perhaps get on A Crooked Path and scroll down to the bottom of the Home Page to ARCHIVES and venture into the past articles and things published going back to March of 2011. Yep, over 10 years of stuff to go through.
Oh, there is one thing for sale on this website. It isn’t promoted much. About once a year I decide to mention it. Some folks over the years have admonished me for my pitiful job of promoting it.
I know. I get it.
But I’m not going to hawk it or be like almost everyone else is about this sort of thing. Plus it’s a book that isn’t easy to market although those who have read it really like it and have said so — and it’s been newly revised from the first printing to be easier to read, with a new index at the back showing all the Scripture used in the order used in every single piece.
Plus, you can have the knowledge of being one of the fewest people on earth to buy probably the least purchased book on earth! Now that’s a special category to belong to, isn’t it!? Talk about being in a very select group!? Just imagine being in the I-have-the-book-that-is-the-least-bought-book-on-earth club?
I can count on about 12 hands the total number of books sold since it was first available 10 years ago. This can be verified by going to Amazon and seeing where the book is listed.
I’ve been admonished about revealing that truth as well. Not supposed to be so glaringly honest but I am.
Just how it is here.
So, if not a subscriber receiving emails — because Facebook is going to ban places like ACP one day soon — and so you know? You may have noticed, perhaps not, but I have not promoted a single posting on Facebook in years. As you know if you use Facebook they are constantly pushing to BOOST a posting, let people know about it! BOOST that posting!
But unless your material meets their criteria? Which means if you mention the word “homosexual” or “Islamist,” or write anything they deem unacceptable? They can and will when discovered suspend you. Shut you down. It has happened. It is happening more. It will continue even more and places such as ACP will one day sooner than later not be found on Facebook.
So, I haven’t “BOOSTED” anything on Facebook in many years as a result of their advertising policy which is tyrannical, pagan (New Age) worldview, and downright disagreeable and alien to God’s word and, well, what I do here.
See?
So subscribe.
I don’t hassle or contact anyone. Right, those who are already subscribers? (Leave your comments under this posting if moved to do so, thank you).
I don’t advertise. Push things.
Other than the word of God and push against the tsunami of darkness and evil attempting to blanket this nation and its people, and the people of the world.
The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

Well, I warned you above. I’m still of the flesh. Weak. I make more mistakes than I do things right.
I’m just thankful continually for God’s mercy, grace — the free gift of His grace — and His making salvation possible for a wretch, a sinner such as me, a weak man of the flesh.
And I only do this about once a year. So, that isn’t too much, is it?
