Words

Oh, the crushing weight

fate

so many words

words versus worth

landfilled

of words

yet

among almost all

written

spoken

only a token

tossed from lips and tongues

words of worth

Oh, such a dearth

upon this parched darkened

lost earth!

All abominations

evils

wrongs

now rendered inane

among the profane

believing a lawyer

PR firm

agent

friend

family member

themselves

can utter a trite packaged in banality

“I’m sorry, forgive me”

only to never know

never know

never know

no matter the tears

be they streaming

as a stream swelled by spring rains

or dry

nothing

emoting from the dead

lying

eye

no matter

no matter

what

words

no understanding

no change

no renewing

no humility

just saving face

rehearsed

feigned

grace

evolving from an automated

face

every place

words

words

just words

no worth

no REPENTANCE

no turning from

not going back

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

And early in the morning

He came again into the temple,

and all the people came unto Him;

and He sat down, and taught them.

And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery;

and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him,

“Master,

this woman was taken in adultery,

in the very act.

Now Moses

in the law

commanded us,

that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?”

This they said,

tempting Him,

that they might have to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down,

and with His finger wrote on the ground,

as though He heard them not.

So when they continued asking Him, He lifted up Himself,

and said unto them,

“He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.”

And

again

He stooped down,

and wrote on the ground.

And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out

one by one,

beginning at the eldest,

even unto the last:

and Jesus was left alone,

and the woman standing in the midst.

When Jesus had lifted up Himself, and saw none but the woman,

He said unto her,

“Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?”

She said, “No man, Lord.”

And Jesus said unto her, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”

Words vs. worth

for

in these darkened apostasy days

where truth is ripped away

tossed aside

rising humanistic tide

so many backslide

failure

what we have here is a failure

to communicate

in times when truth is called

hate

the balance of the worth of words

suffers a deadly fate

for

words of worth are complete

whole

they take the time

context

say what needs said

better the whole truth enter the heart

than misled

by a worldly head

words of worth

vs.

words

versus

worth

in these darkening by the moment

apostasy

wolves in sheep’s clothing

devouring the flock times

from the history

revealed above

as Jesus our Lord stooped

writing in the dirt

what

words

of

worth

failed to mention

in these ever growing darker

(not done yet going to get worse, oh, so much worse!)

humanistic

relativistic

gone ballistic

banality among the apostate spooned up like

triple-dipped cones

upon their carnality

in cunning

subtle

snaky

hissing

words

always missing…

“Go, and sin no more.”

Ah, there’s the rub!

Ya mean I gotta repent!?

Can’t just put on a good act

give ya all a good show?

Ya actually want a turning away

putting away

going away from

this sin

do not repeat

do not repeat

do not repeat

ya actually want me to repent

and sin no more!?

How about I give ya a good cry, say “I’m sorry,”

and you let me carry on

carry con

tarry on

wrong

How can a person repent

when they haven’t a clue

they are just another ingredient in the carnal stew

while they finger their golden crucifix

fixed upon their well clad

no real discernment neck?

words vs. worth

oh, the dearth

upon this diseased

darkening lost

earth

failure to REPENT

failure to LEARN

from that which is heaven sent!

REPENT

oh, sinful man

sinful woman

apostate

atheist

all without the Light

the Way

the Truth

the Lord…

REPENT!

Know what that word means

let it
