Things Not Spoken or Written Of — Directed To Professed Believers

“I want to live a ‘Christ-like’ life.”
“You need to live a Christ-like life!”
“We need to live a Christ-like life as believers!”
Yes, we all do.
Then why is it so very few do?
Let me ask this — was Jesus the Lord stagnant? Did He remain mired in one place? Bemoaning His place, His position in life? Did He complain and refuse to move forward? Did He remain like a hamster on a wheel in a cage? Did He pretend? Lie? Become consumed with this world? Make excuses?
Well, did He!?
Or did the Lord Jesus always move forward. Towards a place, a goal, with purpose and reason? Did He bemoan His place in life? After all He was spat upon, hated, had no home, did not collect Social Security, did not live off the government, did not have investments, did not fret and worry about getting a raise or if His home would appreciate in value.
Yeshua, Jesus the Lord was homeless. He relied upon God His Father to provide for Him. He obeyed God the Father in all things.
He did not bemoan the fact He was sent to earth taking upon Himself — and this is God we’re speaking of here now — He did not bemoan the fact He had to take on flesh as a man and be subjected to every temptation which He never yielded to and remained spotless, blemish-less, without sin. He was hated by almost everyone. At various points all or most of His professed friends and followers deserted Him and denied Him.
He was beaten, whipped, ridiculed, shamed, scorned, had false witness given in an illegal court to sentence Him to death — SO THAT EVERYONE ELSE COULD LIVE!
Did He ever lie?
Did He ever complain no matter what happened to Him?
Did He pretend about Himself, the people around Him, the world He lived in and how things were?
Did He abandon the truth and the ways of God to seek favor turning instead to the ways and beliefs and philosophies of the men and women of His time? Did He concern Himself with being accepted and approved of, and hip, and cool, and not out of step with the times He was living in? Did He adopt the knowledge, the ways, the life styles and habits of the men and women He lived among and dealt with daily?
Except to follow the instruction of Jewish practices since He was a true Jew and abided by the practices of His people.
Did He gravitate to and live to win the favor of the high and mighty, the powerful and privileged of His time?
No. To the contrary.
Was He obsessed with the games and trivial pursuits and entertainment of His time?
No. Certainly not.
Did He live with regret, living in the past, lamenting “Oh if only I hadn’t done this, and that, and those other things, oh I don’t deserve to be Lord and Saviour of people so I’ll just remain wallowing here in the same place day in and day out never growing, never moving forward, always focusing on myself instead!”?
No. Not hardly.
Yet the vast majority of professed believers I have known and currently know for the most part do the following:
1.) Live in the past and refuse to live in the moment given and blessed by God the Father.
We refuse to live now and to move forward. Much preferring to remain in the quagmire of past deeds and regrets.
This attitude and behavior makes the devil dance with joy and it brings sadness to the heart of God the Father and Jesus the Lord.
Should we not rather live to be people after the heart of God the Father and not living to make the devil the happy one?
Then why do we daily do so much to make Satan, the father of lies so happy and we do not spend nearly enough energy and time concerning ourselves with making God our Father and Jesus our Lord happy?
2.) Worry, complain, bemoan, live in fear
I want every professed believer reading this to contact me in the comment section at the very bottom of this column and list with Scripture references all the examples of how Jesus the Lord, Saviour, Redeemer, and Messiah worried, complained, bemoaned His station and place in life, and lived in fear.
Christ-like lives? We walk, talk, act, and live in a Christ-like manner?
Where? When? Who does so? Please point them out to me for this I must see!
Can anyone easily discern and spot all the Christians around them? I mean, after all, we are to remain separate from the world and its ways, it manners, its habits, it beliefs and modes and norms and expectations and philosophies — and if, say, in America about 6 out of 10 people claim to be Christian, and many of them “born-again” Christians shouldn’t they easily be able to be noticed and picked out from the remaining people of this world?
Where are they?
Is real life a “Where’s Waldo” game and all the real Christians are there but its like a maze, a game, and they can’t be seen with the naked eye, the hearing ear by their habits, speech, ways they live and conduct themselves?
Why is it so difficult and almost impossible in these times to find and be part of a LIVING church body according to the word of God? Why is it if we have so many “Christ-like” Christians on this earth — billions professing to be so — why is it then nearly impossible to find a place where the Living Waters and life of the Holy Spirit of God hover and permeate the body of people professing faith in area churches in our time? Why is it places calling themselves Christian churches are more concerned with the letter of their denominational decrees and by-laws rather than the complete inerrant word of God and the teachings of the prophets, the apostles, and the Lord Himself?
They spit upon the word and elevate the doctrine and teaching of the men, man, or woman who founded their particular denomination instead!
They cherish and turn to productions, and plays, and rock bands, and appeasement, and entertainment, and committees as convoluted and filled with vipers as those of the world!
They misled and destroy the ones touched by God and desiring and needing a shepherd here on earth to guide and watch out for the flock from the wolves along the way, the briars and gullies and falls to death along the way until the Lord returns!
But instead of having these devoted and true and caring shepherds the flocks are infiltrated and infested with prey, with drooling wolves serving their master — Satan! For if they do not live in and abide by the inerrant word of God, if they are bringing in false doctrines and doctrines of men and women, doctrines and ways and beliefs and attitudes and customs of the world they are thus serving the world and he who has been given dominion over it for a season — and they are not living for and serving the Lord Jesus, and God the Father, nor are they guided by and living according to the instruction, reproof, chastisement, and ways of the Holy Spirit!
Disciples of Jesus the Lord? Disciples of the Messiah?
Imitating His life and manners and ways?
Where are these folk’s?
I see and hear consumption with things. Consumed in fear. Consumed in worry. Consumed with acquisition and accumulation of the material matter of this world which will all burn and pass away as it is so fleeting, so temporary.
Where is the storing up of heavenly and spiritual things for eternity? Where is the turning to and growing closer to God the Father and Jesus the Son?
Where is the living now and moving forward in the faith?
I see and hear so many living in the past. Always saying things. Always making promises they will change, they will no longer do this — yet they refuse to place their trust on and in God, on and in Jesus, on and in the Holy Spirit to RENEW THEIR MINDS, RENEW THEIR HEARTS, RENEW THEIR SPIRITS and to commit their lives unto the Lord!
A lot of talk, talk, talk.
A lot of motions. A lot of movements going nowhere except into the deeper rut and pit they dig.
A lot of gestures and attempts at looking busy.
A lot of entertainment and being out of breath from busyness while going nowhere and never growing.
If this were so, from all those professing belief in God the Father, in Jesus the Lord, in the Holy Spirit, in the inerrant word of God — if this were so this world would be completely different than it presently it since literally BILLIONS of people alive today profess with their lips to be “Christian” and to work towards living a “Christ-like life.”
Jesus Christ knew the Scriptures. After all He wrote them using the hands and spirits of the men of the Bible — and in the words of the Bible Jesus the Lord tells us of how things and people REALLY are, and about professing faith while not truly living it, while saying one thing and doing another, about proclaiming the good news while living in muck, and mire, and not moving one foot in front of the other on the path towards God wallowing in the past, wallowing in the deeds of this life, wallowing in the world and permitting the Adversary to lead and control them rather than placing their trust in the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit to lead them!
This website compared to a current day mega-church is all the example that is needed for illustration:
This website has a daily viewing and readership of about 70 to 100 people a day.
With 40 subscribers.
This website does not appease. This website does not worry about being liked or being popular or serving the world, or telling people WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR OR READ —
This website is prayed to be directed by the Holy Spirit of God to post WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE HEARD AND READ rather than what people desire.
The small mega-churches have 30,000 to 50,000 rabid dedicated followers to the MESSAGE of usually ONE MAN — WHO BECOMES IDOLIZED AND WORSHIPPED BY THE MEMBERS AN D PARTICIPANTS OF THOSE SPECFIC CHURCHES, God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the complete inerrant Bible are after thoughts and used in vain and only used to PROMOTE THE PASTOR OF SAID PLACES! — and the message he drones into them is one THEY WANT TO HEAR rather than WHAT THEY NEED TO HEAR and they flock to the wolves, they give the wolves and false teachers hundreds of millions of dollars so the wolves can buy private jets, and $10,000,000 homes, and live like earthly sheiks, and kings and queens all the while professing to be “Christians” but failing to speak or write of salvation, of the deity of Jesus, of the miracles and truth of the complete word of God!
This website does not seek or ask for so much as one thin dime. This website operates on trust in God the Father and Jesus the Lord and the Holy Spirit and the inerrant word of God.
Can anyone go into any church these days, and especially the growing and very popular ones without being told how they must give and give generously and repeatedly so the Lord’s work can be done? Why is it the Lord’s work can only be done when the pastors of such places are able to buy private Gulf Stream jets? Or live in $10,000,000 private homes with gold toilets? Is this a “Christ-like” way? A “Christ-like” imitation and pursuit and example?
Yet these places grow like a cancer in a body.
While the truth is beaten down and reviled and denied.
So it is and so it will be as Scripture tells us the last of the last days shall be — where false teachings and false teachers and those with itching ears seeking fables, seeking appeasement and pleasing words to their ears shall reign over those who desire the truth.
The great falling away, the great apostasy is with us.
Can we, will we fight the good fight and endure in the faith and be strong soldiers of and for God the Father and His inerrant word?
Will we be among the remnant who relies upon God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the complete, whole, living inerrant word of God? Or will we remain mired and give in and succumb and be deceived and turn to and follow the world and its lies and those it puts in position to misled millions, misled billions to their deaths thinking themselves holy, godly, Christian, and “Christ-like?”
A Tree and its Fruit
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:15-23 — King James Version
15 “Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep’s clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves! 16 You will recognize them by their fruit. Can people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every healthy tree produces good fruit, but a poor tree produces bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, or a poor tree good fruit. 19 Any tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire! 20 So you will recognize them by their fruit.
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’
