Chocolate Cake

I realize most people have no idea what baking is. People now think food somehow magically appears and they just buy it and consume it. They are completely unfamiliar with the process and the actual science of baking. The componets making the end result possible.
But most people do know you don’t get chocolate cake by starting with a bunch of nails. Right? And if you want chocolate cake you don’t even get one if all you have is this:
I don’t care how much you crave a chocolate cake, how much you desire a piece, or how great your imagination that you can even taste it in your mind. Unless all the ingredients are present and prepared correctly, laid out and put together in order, with attention to detail every step along the way you still won’t have chocolate cake. No matter how you delude yourselves, or allow someone else to delude you into thinking their pile of nails tastes just like homemade chocolate cake.
So why then do the majority feast upon this, and only this:
But I would not have you be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18
And conclude from that passage of Scripture, and only that passage since they offer up no other that believers will be caught in the clouds PRIOR TO THE GREAT TRIBULATION and spared suffering? Spared the discomfort and pain of being a believer refusing to take the mark of the beast? From that portion of Scripture how has it become so prevalent and virulent that there will be a “rapture” to catch believers in the clouds and spare them from what is coming? Man supplanting the truth of the Word of God with their own imaginings. Creating falsehoods and in truth then proclaiming that Christ returns not once, but twice. Although those that read and know Scripture know that doctrine is an abomination, a great blasphemy and untrue. For all throughout all of God’s Word it is written the Lord only returns but once. One more time. Paul does not intimate in his words of Christ coming more than one more time to this perverted and corrupted earth.
Paul says nothing of the kind. Man in his evil and perversity have permitted what he is misled into thinking is of God, yet is of evil. Corrupting the words of Scripture for their own comfort and peace of mind rather than seeking the comfort of God’s Truth.
In verse 15 Paul writes; “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the COMING of the Lord…”
Not the COMINGS. Singular. Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior returns to this earth but once. And only once. He will not be coming and going and then coming back again seven years later.
In Revelation 13 it is very clearly written and should be easily understood;
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
If any man have an ear, let him hear…”
Revelation 13: 5-9
If all the saints are caught up in the clouds prior to the arrival of the false prophet and the antichrist, and they are swept up prior to the Great Tribulation then is John made a liar and the Word of God untrue in its stating very clearly; AND IT WAS GIVEN UNTO HIM TO MAKE WAR WITH THE SAINTS, AND TO OVERCOME THEM?
God forbid! No! The Word of God is without error and the truth of all Truth.
Man in these modern times and how soft and weak they have become, how corrupted and perverse refuse to acknowledge they do not understand God and how He works and they think they know better, and have discovered a comforting “out” from the great suffering and gnashing and writhing and screaming of pain heard unto the heavens that is to come. Invented in their evil hearts. Not found in the truth of God’s Word. They refuse to accept what God will allow and what must be.
God’s reasons and God’s justice are not man’s. Man is inferior and beneath God. Yet the majority, including those professing such a great belief in truth yelling mightily how they speak the truth place themselves on par with God thinking God’s justice must be like man’s. Well there is no plea bargaining with God and His justice. God’s justice is right. Man’s justice is perverted and corrupted. No one can turn state’s evidence and enter the witness protection program. There are no deals cut. There is truth. There is the lie. There is righteousness of God and there is delusion, sin, and evil of the enemy of the truth, the enemy of God, the enemy of true believers, he named Satan. Nothing in between. No other recourse. No other paths. So if you follow corrupted and false teachings as you raise your hands and sway about and appear as if you took a few too many Prozac and you believe in your heart you’ll be caught up in the clouds prior to the Great Tribulation, and will not have to either take upon your flesh the mark of the beast or suffer? You are following and serving Satan and his confusion and lies and not the Word of God.
Too many also discount and do not think of the great enemy, Satan, as having the power and control of this world as he does. Yes, God has total control, the ultimate control, but God allows Satan to reign here. He sent him here. God cast Lucifer out of heaven for his arrogance and pride, and Scripture tells us of all the angels he was not only the most beautiful, but also the most powerful, and only God had more power in all creation. God gave him the title “prince of the earth.” People are so narrow and shallow in their thinking, so limiting of God and that is a huge abomination and blasphemy unto itself!
God will allow millions to die. Painful deaths. Beheaded. Man can’t get his head around the fact a loving and merciful God would allow the flesh to suffer in such a manner because they value the flesh and this world above the spirit and the spiritual. They only want to hear what pleases them and comforts them and aligns itself with their infected and festering diseased ideologies and perversions of truth. They think of this world and the flesh and have no mind of spirit or understanding of God within them.
If they read the Word of God at all most read corrupted modern translations and then they only read the love, forgiveness, mercy, and how beautiful heaven will be parts.
Believers even profess there was an “Old Testament God,” and a “New Testament God” in their blasphemy and ignorance refusing to acknowledge the truth and understand God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He showed mercy and love to those in the Old Testament deserving of His mercy and love through their righteousness. His justice is the most just. Man does nothing but corrupt and pervert yet man thinks he knows better than God who created him and set the seas apart, and placed the stars in the heavens!
God and His Word are pure, just, sweet, and true. Man corrupts all. Everything. And then they lie and delude themselves they don’t and dine upon their lies and convince themselves their perversions are the truth.
If we take a gallon of the purest, sweetest, cleanest water on earth and have an eyedropper containing pure crude oil and we squeeze only one drop of crude oil into that gallon of purity and sweetness we no longer have pure water. We have tainted water once pure now containing toxic poisons that can harm the person drinking of it. What we drink of the Word of God while allowing man to pollute and poison its purity and truth is no different.
What we take into our ears, our minds, our hearts has been no less tainted and poisoned. It does not need to reek like a sewage treatment plant in order to be toxic to our being. Just one drop here, one drop there and the purity, clearness, and sweetness are forever removed yet those drinking of the poison do not notice. Death does not come instantly but over time. Accumulation and a wearing down, a wearing away. Erosion.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Revelation 20: 4
Now if all the believers are caught up in the clouds prior to the Great Tribulation and the coming of the beast where did this throng of devoted and true witnesses for Christ and the Word of God come from?
The above passage of Scripture is not vague or muddled. It is not some obscure prophesy needing vast interpretation. It is as clear as the clearest glass. To those who can see and understand, who have ears open to hear.
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor of thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.
Amos 8: 11-12
Where do the beheaded saints before the throne that will judge alongside Christ for a 1,000 years come from? What is coming needs to be understood and prepared for. Most professing to be Christian don’t even open a Bible and read it anymore. And if they do they have “selected” passages they read in their “comfortable” translations. Few are preparing themselves for the coming days.
Most go to church on Sunday and rejoin the world come Monday. They may hear the words spoken by the false teacher standing at the pulpit of the church they attend. They may see his inane grin, his rehearsed tones and concocted comforting delivery as he tells them all they have come to know, and they seek not the truth of the entirety of God’s Word they only partake for pleasure and appearances sake, and these fed less than even milk, these fed rancid words and soured milk will all be ill equipped since they were never nourished properly to withstand what is coming. And they will not be spared. They will not be caught up in the air to party with Jesus for seven years while evil consumes the earth and extinguishes all life giving light. There will be so much evil, so prevalent, so embraced it will affect the physical light on this earth. It will darken the days literally. It will also increase the heat and the intensity of the very sun, which in turn will increase the violence and evil men do. The light will cause death and pain and suffering of its own.
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should be no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
Matthew 24: 21-22
Jesus’ Olivet Discourse to His disciples upon the Mount of Olives, in private.
I do not disagree there is great mystery and mystical parts of God and His Word. There are supernatural things we can’t even begin to comprehend. But this is not one of those. In this we are not looking through a glass darkly. Christ illuminated this plainly and clearly for all to understand. He who has an ear let him hear.
Okay?  What’s so vague? So open to interpretation? So mysterious there cannot be a consensus on what Jesus Christ was saying and meant in Matthew chapter 24?
In order.
1.) There will be Great Tribulation.
2.) The likes of which have never been seen on this earth at any time and will only happen once.
3.) Unless the very days were shortened no living thing would be spared or survive.
4.) But for the ELECT’S SAKE, the believers, those days will be shortened so they can endure them.
So where’s the big party in the sky with Jesus and sidestepping the Great Tribulation if one is a true believer in Christ, in God, and in God’s Word?
I put it forth to one and all to show me using God’s Word and not the corrupted and perverted words of man where it is that those that believe, the elect, will be swept up in the sky prior to the Great Tribulation and not have to suffer? Will not have to witness for Christ and the Word of God and will in truth have to decide if they relent and take on the mark of the beast in order to eat, to buy and sell, or if they place more value on the spirit than the flesh and they remain steadfast and persevere for the Lord and His Word, sacrificing themselves as Christ sacrificed Himself for us?
Sorry, but no chocolate cake or pie in the sky for you or anyone else with Jesus while the world goes through its worst and most trying tribulation period ever. All suffer. No exceptions. Unless you die prior to the Great Tribulation arriving.
We live in a time when suffering and sacrifice are not considered nor tolerated. This is due to the poisoning of our minds and following man and this world and not following God and His Word. We run to the medicine cabinet at the slightest sign of pain and want it extinguished, unwilling to endure any pain. We live to be menpleasers and followers of false teachings rather than live to please the Lord and follow His true Living Word.
Do you agree if we profess to be true believers then we are servants of God and of Christ, and the Word of God? And that God and Christ are our masters?
While Paul addresses this to the Ephesians with regard to servants, masters, free men, and those in bondage these words also apply to our being servants of the Lord and serving Him as our Master;
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
Ephesians 6: 5-7
And know that we are to be prepared to suffer;
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be mgnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1: 20-21
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
And in nothing terrified by yur adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
Ephesians 1: 27-29
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.
2 Timothy 2: 12
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7: 13-23
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him,
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
2 Thessalonians 2
For the eyes of the Lord [are] over the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord [is] against them that do evil.
And who [is] he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy [are ye]: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
For [it is] better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
1 Peter 3: 12-17
And in all the hours in all the churches I’ve ever attended I do not recall ever hearing a sermon given pertaining to this passage of Scripture. Especially by any of the false teachers on the pulpits of the world leading the flock astray each and every Sunday. And this is one reason I no longer attend any church. I can’t find one not contaminated by the philosophy and doctrine of modern man and living and working in the Spirit of God.
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Revelation 14: 6-13
And they preach double-minded doctrine, for they cannot profess to believe in God and His unimpeachable omnipotent Divine Word and on one hand read and preach from Matthew 24, or Mark 13, and then contend Christ is coming twice, that there is this “rapture” that will occur prior to the Great Tribulation and coming of the beast and the antichrist. The Word of God is clear. I answer to no man. I do what I do for the honor and glory of the One True Living God and His Son Jesus Christ, Who lived and died, conquering death, taking on my sin so I might have redemption and salvation. I do not do this for the glory or praise of man or woman. To sway people. My only thought and concern is for the truth to be heard through the muck and filth that makes up this world and its errant teachings in our time. In these last days, the time of the great falling away, deception, rise of false teachers, and the great apostasy. We all are living precariously on the last page in the story of this world. I do not ask you to believe me. I ask you to seek out and read God’s Word. Seek out the truth of the Lord. Get a King James Version Bible and read all of it. Not just the parts that make you feel good. And in truth? All of it should make you feel good if you are a true believer. The truth of the suffering, the great travails coming, the destruction, the death should not cause terror in you. You should rejoice in the truth of God’s Word and the purity and beauty of His justice.
What is coming will make anything that preceded it look like a walk in the park on a perfect summer day. What is coming will make the Nazi’s look like amateurs. For millions more will die and suffer and face persecution and torture and death. And this world will writhe in greater and greater sin so as there will almost not be one righteous person remaining in all the world.
If you truly want chocolate cake than don’t accept a pile of nails and bit down on the hardness of that deception. A lie is a lie. Period. You cannot have your cake and eat it too. And if you seek to be a true believer than you had better equip and prepare. You had better gird your loins in the Truth of God’s Word each and every day. Take God’s instruction to heart for the day is quickly coming when the door to salvation will close and the opportunity will be no more. The day is coming for the gentile when there will be a famine of God’s Word upon all the land and they can never get their names into the book of life.
Do not follow false teachings or any man. Follow only God and His Word and the life and light of His Son, Yeshua, Jesus Christ our Lord.
I am including Matthew chapter 24 and 25 and Mark chapter 13 for more clarity to those in need of the truth of God’s Word.  Please read them.
These are very clear and easy to understand Scripture passages. Spoken and written in the order in which events are to occur, for Christ did not teach in order to deceive. These words are not shrouded in great mystery. To him that hath an ear let him hear! Or else perish. Your choice. Follow the lies thinking they are the truth in the great deception going on where the majority professing Christ and belief are in truth serving Satan, or make the effort upon bended knee, in complete submission, in earnest prayer asking the Holy Spirit to not turn from you and to bestow upon you discernment and nourish you in the Truth of God’s Living Word of Truth.
And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh:
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish.
They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
But the wise answered, saying, [Not so]; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
For [the kingdom of heaven is] as a man travelling into a far country, [who] called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made [them] other five talents.
And likewise he that [had received] two, he also gained other two.
But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, [there] thou hast [that is] thine.
His lord answered and said unto him, [Thou] wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and [then] at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
Take therefore the talent from him, and give [it] unto him which hath ten talents.
For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee]?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Matthew chapters 24 & 25
And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings [are here]!
And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any [man] deceive you:
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and shall deceive many.
And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for [such things] must needs be; but the end [shall] not [be] yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
But when they shall lead [you], and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against [their] parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter [therein], to take any thing out of his house:
And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
For [in] those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here [is] Christ; or, lo, [he is] there; believe [him] not:
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if [it were] possible, even the elect.
But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, [even] at the doors.
Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
[For the Son of man is] as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Mark 13
Do not take false comfort in lies deceiving yourself, but take real comfort in the truth even though the majority of men and women will not understand. Only God and Christ provide real comfort. And it may entail death and pain in this fleshly life. All this is temporal. Fleeting. As is any pain. Strive and live for the spirit and eternity, for you’re going to have one kind of eternity or another. You can’t escape. No lie will offer reprieve. So seek and live according to the truth of God’s Word.
And if you crave chocolate cake then seek out all the ingredients and follow the necessary steps. There are no shortcuts for quality, for real belief, real living, real salvation. Do what is necessary. Endure whatever is necessary to endure for the sake of the Lord, and for the glory of God and Christ.
